PRSU allows candidates to join UG courses directly based on merit. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same, provided the candidate is eligible for his/her course. however, for PG and PG Diploma programmes along with certain UG courses, PRSU accepts national level entrance exams and PRSU PG entrance exam scores. The course- specific entrance exams and their syllabus are available on the official portal. Students are advised to check the portal for the same.

PRSU course admission is both merit and entrance-based. Candidates seeking for admission to any of the UG/ PG courses at PRSU needs to go through all the steps of admission process. Below mentioned are the step-wise process for PRSU admission 2025:

1. Application Process: PRSU application process is conducted in both online and offline modes. In order to apply for the course of their choice, candidates have to fill an application form either in-person at the admission office of PRSU or online on the official website. 
2. Selection Rounds: PRSU admissions is both merit and entrance-based. Admission to most of the UG courses is merit-based, whereas the admission to PG and Integrated courses are offered through the respective national/ in-house entrance exams. Following the selection process, candidates have to appear for PI rounds for some courses.
3. Counselling Process: After the completion of all selection rounds, the university will conduct counselling process for the final seat allotment.
4. Merit List Release: In the final step, round-wise merit list of the selected candidates will be released on the official website of PRSU.

PRSU admits student on merit basis. For most UG courses and all PG Diploma courses, the university accepts scores of last qualifying examination. However, for certain UG courses the university conducts an entrance exam. The syllabus for the same can be found on the official portal of the university. PRSU accepts scores of national level entrance exams for MBA programme. Check below the entrance exams accepted by PRSU for the same:

Admission process at PRSU is merit based, with the university accepting PRSU Entrance Exam/ National level entrance exams/ Class 12 scores for the same. Students are advised to check the exams specific to their preferred course that they must attempt, on the official portal of the university.

To apply for any of the UG/ PG courses at PRSU, candidates have to fill an application form along with paying the application fee of INR 400. The institute accepts both online and offline applications. For an offline application, aspirants can visit the university campus and buy the admission form.

Candidates must submit the scores of the last qualifying exams/PRSU entrance exam/national level entrance exams. After the completion of the selection rounds, students must attend the counselling process held by PRSU. Later on, round-wise merit lists are released for candidates who get selected for the respective courses at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University.
