Satisfied with the college because it gives us all the facilities.

Faculty: Teaching quality is overall good or average, not excellent. Teachers are well qualified. The course is relevant. The difficulty of exams is moderate, with a pass percentage of 90 to 95%. This pass percentage varies subject-wise. Physics is very tough here, and exams and quizzes in Physics are tough. Exams of all other subjects are normal.

Peaceful life at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Faculty: Everyone is helpful, but faculty lacks professors from a design background. I hope staff recruitment gets better. But still, a couple of teachers are amazing and definitely very helpful. The curriculum is exactly like IIT B's design course, so the whole course is inclined to industrial design and is technical.

The college beats many top-tier colleges in terms of placement, and the overall experience is great.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. These are teachers qualified from prestigious colleges of India like IITs, NITs, and other top government colleges. It is really easy to communicate with them and get your doubts cleared. The courses are quite relevant, but not so relevant, which I believe should be updated. But it's the problem faced by almost every college, I guess, these days. For the most part, this makes you industry-ready too. Semester exams are not so difficult, but the grading...

Truth about the infrastructure of PEC, Chandigarh.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. However, some professors are strict. They are knowledgeable and teach well. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-ready. The exams are doable and not too difficult. The pass percentage is good in number. There are some issues with the marking rules. Some teachers are strict, and some do lenient checking.

My college review, the one and only Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Placements: College is good with lots of great opportunities. I am currently in my first year in the metallurgy branch. I will be passing out in 2029. The top recruiting companies are Google, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, etc. The highest package is 77 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. While the average is 13 LPA.

Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh review.

Faculty: In the first year, I don’t have much idea about professors of my core subjects, but first-year teachers are good and qualified. The curriculum is good, and all important subjects and practical's are included. It makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. Around 30 marks are required to avoid a back in each subject.

Review of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Faculty: Mostly, teachers are not interested in teaching properly, but if we go up to them and ask doubts, they will help us. They won't be very helpful otherwise. It's very hard to understand what they are teaching in classes (the same is in most colleges), so ChatGPT will help us a lot.

It has strong academics, supportive faculty, good placements and comfortable campus life.

Faculty: Faculty members in our course are very supportive and focused on practical learning. Most teachers have a good academic background and industry experience, which helps in understanding real examples during classes. The course curriculum is designed to build strong fundamentals in computer science. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Questions in exams mostly come from the syllabus taught in class, along with practical applications.

Amazing college with top-tier placements, good academic environment, and a nice atmosphere.

Faculty: The teachers are all Ph.D. scholars. They have great experience. They are extremely knowledgeable. The teaching quality was pretty good for the most part, with some classes being pretty boring, just like any other engineering college. The course curriculum is relevant enough, and it is evident if we look at the placements. It surely makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are pretty conceptual. They are not tough, but they can only be solved by people who have really understood the...

It's a beautiful college, and I am having a nice time here.

Faculty: Professors here are well-qualified and nice. Syllabus is completed on time. Exam-relevant questions and problems are also given. Assignments are also given. Exams are not very difficult, but not easy either. If you follow what the teacher says, then you excel. The course focuses on modern technologies like power systems and control systems, in collaboration with Power Grid.

PEC is one of the top colleges in India. We have to get a great percentile in JEE Main.

Faculty: It does not affect whether semester exams are difficult or not, as there is a relative grading system. If exams are difficult, it is difficult for all students, and if exams are easy, then it is easy for all students. The course curriculum is relevant.

The college is very good, but it is a bit expensive.

Faculty: The teachers are quite qualified, but most of the students study by themselves from books, so it's hard to understand the lessons from the teachers. The course curriculum is quite relevant and good for industry exposure. The semester exams are easy, not very hard.

Good placements and amazing campus life but the infrastructure needs improvement.

Faculty: The faculty at PEC is a mixed bag, some senior professors are absolute gems with deep knowledge in the core and CSE departments but a few others just stick to slides. You can't rely entirely on classroom teaching, most of us end up studying from YouTube or reference books. The curriculum has been updated recently to include some modern electives, but for placement you need to put extra effort outside the syllabus to be truly industry-ready. As for exams PEC follows a relative grading system whic...

College is fine, but very overhyped.

Faculty: In my first year, I have seen a variety of teachers. Most of them are well qualified. A very few of them teach exceptionally well. Most of them are just like any other teacher, teaching for the sake of course completion. Seniors seem dissatisfied with the faculty.
