Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh review.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of PEC Chandigarh is decent. First-year classrooms have AC, and the Computer Science department and ECE department also have AC. Wi-Fi is good. The infrastructure of labs is decent; some lab machines are old, while some have new machines. The library is good, and all types of books are available. Hostels are average but quite costly compared to other NITs. The mess is decent, and there is no hostel canteen. For medical facilities, there is a dispensary in PEC market where you ...

Review of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Infrastructure: Hostels are just good enough for surviving. However, rooms are pretty small for two students, and only one table is provided in a room of two. The tennis table is broken and the snooker room is non-functional. The mess food is good for mess standards, but definitely not of top quality.

It has strong academics, supportive faculty, good placements and comfortable campus life.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is good and designed to support practical learning. We have well-equipped computer labs, high-speed internet, and updated software tools that help us in coding and project work. Hostel facilities are decent and well-managed. Rooms are clean and have basic furniture like beds, study tables, and cupboards. The canteen and mess food is simple and hygienic.

Amazing college with top-tier placements, good academic environment, and a nice atmosphere.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure can surely be better. However, it is still manageable, with labs being allotted for every course. We have regular lab classes, promoting hands-on learning. The food quality is okay, and the hostel is also okay. Sports facilities are really good, with football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, lawn tennis, and badminton courts. It also has a great gym. I would say that PEC Chandigarh has a really good atmosphere.

It's a beautiful college, and I am having a nice time here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is appreciable, classes are well built, spacious, and labs are nice. The department has its own building. We also have conference rooms and tutorial rooms. Hostels are good, rooms are good, but small for 2 people. Mess is average. There is a PEC market that has a dispensary. We have two 2 Nescafe outlets also. A lot of sports facilities are provided. We have a gym, a badminton court, volleyball, basketball, a tennis court, football, cricket, and an athletic ground.

PEC is one of the top colleges in India. We have to get a great percentile in JEE Main.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a bit old because the college itself is old. The food is above average. The PEC market is the best. Sports and facilities here are very good. I would rate the college 4 out of 5 stars. It is one of the top colleges in the whole country.

The college is very good, but it is a bit expensive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is mediocre, not very good, but it's okay for the placements. Wi-Fi is good, labs are old but are good enough, library is top-notch, classrooms for 1st year are amazing, but for the following three years, classrooms are okayish, hostels are quite old for 1st year, but are like a hotel for 4th year.

Good placements and amazing campus life but the infrastructure needs improvement.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors, though some older blocks still lack ACs.The library is definitely the highlight, it's fully air-conditioned and has a massive collection of books and this is the go-to spot during exams. The campus-wide Wi-Fi is decent. Labs are well-equipped for the core. Hostel life here is an experience in itself. First year get shiwalik, which is old, and the rooms are compact. The washrooms are average and need frequent maintenance. The mess food is ...

College is fine, but very overhyped.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is bad. The boys' hostel has very small rooms. Hostel food and cleanliness are average. In college, there are multiple dysfunctional labs. The robotics lab has machines which are out of order due to a lack of maintenance. The gym has old-school equipment, including very few weight plates, unlabelled dumbbells, non-adjustable pulleys, and dysfunctional machines.

Our college is very good.

Infrastructure: The college has a poor infrastructure. The internet in the classrooms is very slow. Jammers are installed in the classes. The library is well-maintained and large enough to study there with facilities like AC, tube-light everywhere, proper charging ports, and proper Wi-Fi connections all over. The college has all the types of labs required for the course. The college has many grounds and is active in sports. The best placements from the old legendary college.

Infrastructure: PEC is more than 100 years old and has an average infrastructure i.e., very old. Development is currently taking place in our college, and new buildings and a hostel are being built. The quality of food in the hostel is above average, cleanliness is good in the mess and washrooms, and the sports and games department also offers many opportunities and equipment to pursue your hobbies.

PEC Chandigarh, not IIT Chandigarh. Overall college is nice, senior–junior culture is good.

Infrastructure: Buildings are okay, Wi-Fi is unusable in hostels, resources in library are great, labs are average too. Mess is okay according to price and PEC market is one of the highlight points of college, it’s very good. Medical facility is available at PEC market only. Around this time, so many events are there that one doesn't get bored in their college life.

It may not be someone's dream college, but it has the best crowd.

Infrastructure: Our college has highly equipped labs, as some civil engineering labs have 10 lakh worth of machines. Wi-Fi is super good. The library is one of the best I have seen. For the hostel, I would rate it 2 out of 5 for 1st year. The condition gets better till the 4th year. We have 3-4 grounds and a gym.
