Affordable with good faculty.
Placements: A lot of students were not placed last year. The package was from 2.8 LPA to 7 LPA, as far as I know. The average would be around 3.2 LPA. Top companies were ThinkNext, Softwizz, etc. 3 out of 10 students got internships in their last semester. Top roles were Software Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Basic facilities are available. Most water coolers are useless in my department, and everything else just exists. The library is present. The hostel might be near average, but for its price, it's great. Food needs to be improved, and so does the mess contractor. Medical facilities are good, as are the sports facilities.
Faculty: Faculty is well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. However, the course curriculum needs some improvement regarding today's industry standards. Semester exams are conducted fairly. Students need to study a bit beforehand to pass, but sometimes they are easy too. Exams are of 50 marks, and the remaining 50 marks are based on assignments and attendance.
Other: I chose this course because I was very good at coding. Hence, I chose Computer Science. The best thing is the faculty, for sure. The curriculum, washrooms, and drinking water need improvement. Events happen sometimes, and a lot of scholarships are available for students.

Good in terms of faculty for the price.
Placements: Most students don't get placed in my degree, and overall I would say 2 out of 10. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, HackwithInfy, and a few more. About 10 percent of students got internships in their last year. Top roles offered are digital marketing, graphic designer, marketing head, sales, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available, labs are not that great for the first two years but are now alright. Classrooms are just about alright. The library is on the top floor and useful sometimes. Hostel facilities are just okay, to be fair, quite affordable. Quality of food is below average. Medical and sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful from day one. They are very qualified and knowledgeable in most cases. Teaching quality is top-notch in my opinion. The curriculum is not that relevant, it is outdated. Semester exams are difficult most of the time. The passing percentage is 35 percent maybe.
Other: I was trying to get into a computer course, so I got here. The best thing is it's very affordable. The curriculum and hostel mess have a lot to improve. Events happen sometimes, the campus crowd is average, and scholarships are available.

JLN College, satisfying experience as a new/1st year student.
Placements: I just joined the college. I don't have enough information about placements. The students who got placements and passed out of the college, their picture frames on the walls give the answers perfectly. Also, it depends on the students themselves. As for staff they recommended staying updated about relevant government jobs if it fits students' interests and abilities.
Infrastructure: This government college is affiliated with Punjab University. It has almost all the basic and necessary facilities. It's more than the basics. Smart classes, virtual room, etc., are proof of evolution. The other facilities like the library, canteen, ground for sports activities, etc., are also available. The official campus Wi-Fi is limited. If students get proper access to this then it would be really useful. The internet has many advantages except for scrolling reels.
Faculty: Professors are actually professional. No delays in anything or blindly overwriting the rules. They're friendly and know how to simplify the concepts, instead of just teaching. Semesters, subjects, subject categories, schedules, and everything are well-structured.
Other: My reasons to prefer this college are locality (near my residence), almost every subject is available, and whatever necessary facilities a B.A. student needs are available. Besides just locality, I preferred this college because of the campus environment. No meaningless hype, flex, or whatever the private colleges/universities are famous for. Calm environment, perfect for focusing. As a government college, it offers scholarships besides being affordable & value for money. I paid for registration around Rs. 335 only. Administration asked me to continue semesters via scholarship, almost no need to pay yourself.

A journey of three years in BFGI.
Placements: The college provides good placements and has links with reputed companies as well. There are various companies with which the college has tie-ups, like Infotech, Amazon, Hike, Education, etc. There are also various internship programs available in the college as well.
Infrastructure: As I am not the hostel president, but the college provides hostel facilities too. There are some shortcomings, as anything having positive points also has some negative, but overall it's good. There is an extra gym facility available in the hostel. The food quality of the mess is good enough to eat, not much more than that.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant too. The exams are conducted semester-wise, and there are two times mid sem tests conducted, which we call MSTs. Others are also practical knowledge provided by the teachers, as well as there might sometimes be a lack of management but it is okay according to college norms and as compared to other colleges.
Other: I chose Bachelor's in Business Administration as I have an interest in entrepreneurship. There should be one improvement that exams should include practicals in the industrial area for industrial knowledge and information. There are various types of events and activities which are organsed by the college, and various extracurricular activities which include festival celebrations. An international fest, namely VIBGYOR, is organised by the college annually.

Faculty is top-notch, the rest not so much.
Placements: About 10–20% of students get placed. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiters are ThinkNEXT Technologies and Solitaire Infosys. Around 30% of students get internships in their second year. 20% get internships in their final year. The top roles offered are Graphic Designer, Marketing Executive, Sales Executive, and others.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but it is practically of no use. Labs are useful in some departments. Classrooms are not in good condition, while the library is helpful for many students. Single hostel rooms are available from the second year onward. The quality of the hostel food is moderate. Sports and games facilities are in good condition.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is pretty good for the most part. The course curriculum is not very relevant because it is outdated and does not help much in terms of industry requirements. Semester exams are of a moderate level. The passing percentage is based on the grading system.
Other: I chose this course because it offers many opportunities after graduation. The best thing about this course is that students can pursue careers in almost any field. The curriculum can be improved. Overall, events need to be better. Events are almost non-existent after the second year. The campus crowd is just alright, the surroundings are green, and many scholarships are available because it is a government campus. Extracurricular activities are also almost non-existent.

Our college is the best with good facilities and helpful and friendly teachers.
Placements: About 75% of students were placed in my course. The average package is 1 LP. About 80% of students got internships from my course. The course I selected is a highly preferred course of today's generation. It gives knowledge about AI, coding, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well cleaned and liveable. It gives facilities like a library, good, healthy food, etc. The rooms are also cleaned and organised. It feels like a second home. They take care of cleanness. It provides good medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified and very helpful. They are very friendly. The difficulty level of exams is average. The passing percentage is 34%. They do not let students cheat during exams. They supervise students very well. The exam process is very efficient.
Other: I chose this course as it is a highly preferred course of today's generation. As AI is going to replace everything in the future. It is important to learn about AI. I think I chose the best course for myself.

Punjabi University Patiala the highest package CSE in 2026 was INR 7 LPA. The highest internship stipend was INR 20,000 per month. Some of the major recruiters were Elevate, Infosys Technologies, Vedanta Power, KPMG and Tech Mahindra.

Punjabi University Patiala 2023 cutoffs vary between 58.6 to 94.8 for General All India category candidates. The Punjabi University cutoffs are based on merit in the qualifying examination or course specific entrance test.

Punjabi University conducts its own in-house entrance examination for majority of its UG and PG courses. However, for BTech admission, candidates have to apply through the JEE Mains. The admission to the MTech course is through the GATE scores.

Patiala University MBA placement data 2026 is not out yet. As per the NIRF 2025 report for management, a total of 22 MBA students got placements. The median package for the placed graduates was INR 7 LPA.
