Punjabi University students admitted to various departments are eligible for the following scholarships:

  • Merit Scholarship under the National Merit Scholarship Schemes sponsored by the Centre and the State Governments.
  • Loan Scholarships under the Government of India National Loan Scholarships Scheme.
  • Scholarships, stipends and fee concessions as admissible from time to time under the State Harijan Welfare Scheme for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes.
  • Merit Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the result of the examination conducted by the Punjabi University.
  • Stipends to children/grandchildren of Freedom Fighters, Ex INA personnel and to those sponsored by the Treasurer, Charitable Endowment, Punjab.
  • UGC Post-graduate Merit Scholarship: This scholarship will be awarded to university-rank holders both in General and Honours Courses at the undergraduate level.

Placements: My college is not so famous, but I can say more than average. If I am talking about placements, then not so many, but 3-4 companies came to the college for placement, and some of my classmates got jobs.

It is a good college for nature lovers.

Placements: Yearly, a job fair is conducted, and staff members will help to get internship offers. Nearly 30 to 50 students get admitted every year in every course through entrance exams and the counseling process. Overall, above average, and mostly all members in a batch get a job.

The college is good and excellent. Good facilities are provided.

Placements: In this college, 40 to 50% of students are placed from campus, but students who are in interviews with full knowledge have the highest package offer in this college of 10 LPA.
