Our college is the best with good facilities and helpful and friendly teachers.
Placements: About 75% of students were placed in my course. The average package is 1 LP. About 80% of students got internships from my course. The course I selected is a highly preferred course of today's generation. It gives knowledge about AI, coding, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well cleaned and liveable. It gives facilities like a library, good, healthy food, etc. The rooms are also cleaned and organised. It feels like a second home. They take care of cleanness. It provides good medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified and very helpful. They are very friendly. The difficulty level of exams is average. The passing percentage is 34%. They do not let students cheat during exams. They supervise students very well. The exam process is very efficient.
Other: I chose this course as it is a highly preferred course of today's generation. As AI is going to replace everything in the future. It is important to learn about AI. I think I chose the best course for myself.

Dissatisfied with some facilities.
Placements: There are about 60 students in my batch. The top roles offered in my course are Professor of Political Science, Economics, etc. The course is relevant even for preparing for civil services exams. About 10–20 percent of students get placed. Students also get selected for the civil services from my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Labs are well furnished, but the quality of some rooms is below average. The food available in the college canteen is good. Medical facilities are provided immediately to students. Sports facilities are also available for students.
Faculty: Although, teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. Some teachers are just proud of their degree and do not help students. However, some teachers are very kind and helpful. Exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is 70%. The course curriculum is relevant.

Dissatisfied with the crowd. There are 0 placements and poor facilities.
Placements: The placement percentage is very low, varying from 3-4%. The college is not very placement-oriented. Packages offered are not high. Only a few students got placed with an average package of 1.5 LPA. The highest package is 2 LPA. The lowest package is 0.7 LPA. Companies that visit the college are Kotak, Tech Mahindra, Dell, and other small firms. Internships are cracked by some students on their own, so there is no official number. The top roles offered are web developer, software developer, and cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: Facilities available on campus are few. Classrooms are good and spacious. There is no Wi-Fi access for college students. The library is also quite good. The environment is peaceful, but there is no air-conditioned facility in either the library or classrooms. There is a gym and sports complex in the college, which is good. The college has one hostel for girls only. The hostel doesn't have AC rooms. Although rooms are good. The food is average. There are medical facilities, but there is no dedicated space for games or sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They help students with their syllabus. They are highly qualified, and the teaching staff is good, but there are some exceptions. The course curriculum is relevant and teaches the required skills for the industry. The syllabus is updated. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 70%, which is average due to the great difficulty in some exams.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in technology. In my 12th class, I opted for Biology instead of mathematics, so I have no option but to do BCA. The best thing is that this course opens doors to technology for every student, irrespective of their background. The course should be taught at a more advanced level and provide more knowledge of software in depth. There are no major events on the campus. Only the youth fest is conducted once a year. The crowd is not that good. There are no major extracurricular activities.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by Yadavindra College of Engineering
3.2

Teachers are top-notch, infrastructure is mediocre at best, and placements are not great.
Placements: About 30 percent of students got placed last year. The highest package is nearly 6 LPA and the lowest is 2.8 LPA. Top recruiter is Excellence Technology Chandigarh. About 40 percent of students got internships in my course, in my case the company is Excellence Technology. Top roles are digital marketing executive, graphic designer, social media executive, and more.
Infrastructure: Labs are available but most of the computers don't work and the ones that work are good as nothing. Classrooms are alright with basic facilities. The library is also good enough. In the case of hostel rooms most students have single rooms without sharing, common washrooms, water cooler, washing machines, and a medical dispensary although the games and sports are very much valued.
Faculty: Most teachers are Ph.D. holders so this department is top-notch. The teaching quality is also very good for half the teachers including the HOD and the other half is alright. The course curriculum is decent for today's relevance I wouldn't say it's the worst but it can be better for students to be industry-ready. It's not that great. Semester exams are moderate depending on the semester sometimes easy and tough as well. The passing percentage is based on SGPA which is the ISC grade.
Other: I chose this course because I had a good knowledge of mathematics and computer science. The best thing about this course would be that it's very open so there are a lot of opportunities after graduation. I think better computer labs and more specifically computers and Wi-Fi connection by the college would be great. Events and fests are great during the previous HOD but now anything rarely happens. Campus crowd, connectivity, and surroundings are good enough. The scholarships are available as it is a government college and extracurricular activities were also good during the previous HOD.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2026
Offered by DAV College ,Bathinda
2.4
2.0Placements3.0Infrastructure3.0Faculty1.0Crowd & Campus Life3.0Value for Money
From my point of view, DAV is a good college in this regard.
Placements: There is a placement cell in college, but I didn't see anyone there; I don't think any student gets a good placement from this college. If you are doing or want to do a course like BBA or BCA, then inquire about placement from teachers, old students, college staff, and other sources.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is like 3 stars, but some classes are under renovation; the college needs to complete them before the new session starts. There is also a lack of good sitting areas/benches on campus and in the college canteen for students who are free during lectures, and there is no Wi-Fi facility. The library is also average.
Faculty: Everything is fine, but at exam time or during roll number issue time, there is so much rush. They need to solve this problem by putting more teachers on duty at that time. About exams, this is a good thing in college: the exams are not that difficult, and there is a good environment during exams.
Other: In 2026, there is no free Wi-Fi on campus, and drinking water facilities are also average, with a lack of seating places on campus during free lectures.

Almost everything is good and budget-friendly there.
Placements: There are 50% of students placed in our college, and the highest package is 40,000 per year for this course. Students got internships, and we visit the courts. Our teachers are very helpful, and financially weak students can benefit from the post-matric scholarship scheme.
Infrastructure: There are two departments of law in Punjab University, Patiala, and the B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. programs are well provided. The rooms available are very neat and clean, and the study environment is very good. Students enjoy early moments, and the available facilities are good along with the faculty members.
Faculty: Circular activities are mostly performances, and youth festivals are held there. Students enjoy every moment and like each and every teacher. The teachers are helpful by nature and friendly with the students. The faculty members are also good.
