at Quantum University, Roorkee

Quantum University/ Quantum School of Graduate Studies is not directly under the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Additionally, the eligibility criteria for admissions to BA courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%, and the acceptance of CUET UG scores is not mentioned on the official website of the university. 

However,  Quantum University does offer scholarships based on CUET performance for admissions into various undergraduate programmes, including BA (H).

After the completion of a BA from Quantum University, candidates can apply for different government jobs according to their specialisation. Graduates tend to seek employment in public administration, teaching, and social services. Candidates can apply for competitive exams such as UPSC, SSC, and State Public Service Commissions for the positions of IAS, IPS, or other government departments. Besides, there are opportunities in banking, railways, and other PSUs, where a BA degree is a qualifying criterion.
With appropriate preparation and focus, graduates in BA can get employment in the government sector. 

The total tuition fee for BA courses at Quantum University ranged from INR 1.6 Lacs to INR 1.9 lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BA courses at Motherhood University ranges from INR 34,500 to INR 94,000. Hence, it clearly can be seen that Motherhood University is more affordable than Quantum University for BA courses. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing institutes, but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best university/college, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.

The first year of the UG course is divided into two semesters. Aspirants have to appear for the exams semesterly and clear them to pass the course. The subjects included in the Quantum University BA (Hons) in Economics for the very first semester are:

• Principles of Micro Economics 
• Communicative English 
• Fundamental Psychological Processes I
• Communication and Professional Skills I 
• General Proficiency

The University has not disclosed the branch-wise placement details. However, the course-wise placement data is out in the NIRF report 2025. Out of 154 BTech graduates 115 were placed during the 2024 drive. Furthermore, all 5 out of 5 MTech students were placed. Quantum School of Business, Quantum University accepts scores from the Quantum Entrance Cum Scholarship Exam (Q-Care) for admission. Additionally, Quantum School of Technology course admission is both merit-based. For B.Tech and M.Tech, aspirants can apply with JEE Main and GATE scores, respectively. Students who apply with national-level exam score are given preference.

Quantum School of Business, Quantum University offers scholarships based on Q-Care Exam scores, Class 12 board exam scores, and entrance exam scores such as CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT. For instance, students who score 80% and above in Class 12 board exams or Q-Care Exam are eligible for a 100% scholarship on tuition fees in the first year. Additionally, students with a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT are given preference for MBA admission. The university conducts an Entrance cum Scholarship Exam called Q-Care for Admission, which forms the basis of eligibility for some courses and for scholarships for most of the programs.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for session 2. JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam will be held from April 2, 2026, to April 9, 2026. JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration will start in the last week of January 2026. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 session 2 will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE 2026 session 1 exam will be conducted from Jan 21, 2026, to Jan 30, 2026.

Quantum University, Roorkee is a UGC-approved private university. The university is divided into eight schools and 15 departments. The Quantum School of Media Studies and Design (Admission Office) is one of the schools of the university through which it offers two UG-level programmes in journalism and design field. Students pursuing their degree programmes at the school will get a degree from Quantum University after the successful completion of the programme.
