Hello Yogesh, spot round or mop-up round is kept to fill up vacant seats in mostly first come first serve" basis. Hence which seats are available becomes clear only after all normal rounds are exhausted and students' wishes fulfilled as per the order of merit. But even at this stage, it was observed that seats in some branches were lying vacant. To fill these and also to give the last opportunity to students, this round was devised. JAIPUR : Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has granted a 'mercy' chance for engineering students of batch 2006, 2007 and 2008 to clear their back or pending papers in August 2018. These students have failed to clear their engineering degree due to pending papers. RTU was established in 2006.
