Q: Can I join Rama University, Kanpur without CUET?

Candidates can choose to qualify for CUET examination conducted by NTA in order to enroll in any of the courses of Rama University at Kanpur Uttarpradesh. However, the university also conducts it's own RUET- Rama University Entrance Test for the admissions of students.

It is mandatory to attempt either RUET or the respective entrance examination to enroll in any of the courses at this university. Drama University is working for the bright future .

Placements: There are many students doing internships and have many packages; they are working for better placement, developing skills, and many more; they organize many workshop extraclasses and have strict rules; there will be better placement in the future; they are working on it.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities available for students, including a library, Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, and many laboratories. All are clean and a better-working canteen and mess provide great food. We usually sit in the cafeteria during breaks and enjoy the meals.

Faculty: They work for us; they are strict; they never avoid classes; if the faculty is assigned, they will teach; there is no free lecture; attendance is compulsory; they also guide us for the project; provide other links to courses and tests; they are well doing there jobs.

Reviewing Rama University.

Placements: As I have seen in the college, the placements rate is about 30%. The internships rate is also 30%. There are less campus placements and high online placements because the college is in a city where there are less no. of companies. The companies visiting offered low packages. They offer roles of software developer and web development.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome and they are also upgrading it from normal classrooms to digital classrooms where they are offering a projector, big television, and Wi-Fi device in approximately 3 to 4 rooms. There are a lot of facilities representing its uniqueness.

Faculty: There are a lot of faculty members who are very knowledgeable and have completed their Ph.D. and other higher education. Their teaching is also good. The curriculum is made with the consultancy of higher authority. The passing percentage is also good and the semester exams are good, not too hard.

Other: There are a lot of fest and events that I have participated in with multiple students participating in these tests. My college offers scholarships to those who have higher than 60%.

Placements: Before bringing students and the companies face to face, students are provided many services to groom them for enhancing employability. The major highlights of these services are career advisory services, resume writing skills, job search tips, interview strategies, aptitude development workshops, group discussion competence, communication and presentation proficiency, and personality development techniques.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the main building and teaching building is very good. There are many departments like the office of career services, etc. It has a hostel facility. The library has a vast range of books. The whole campus has Wi-Fi. The campus is generally clean, and the food served is hygienic. There are various facilities like a gym, playground, sports equipment, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members adopt a blend of theoretical learning and practical experience to encourage innovation and creativity among the aspirants. Headed by acclaimed educationists, the different departments have produced leaders who have been recognised for their extraordinary contribution in their respective fields.

I am lucky to get admission to this best engineering college in the town.

Placements: This year, almost 97.6% of the students got placed in different companies from our college. The starting salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month, whereas the highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Konical, W3villa, etc., were the top recruiters of our college. Roles like software engineer, software developer trainee, business associates and business development associates were offered by these companies.

Infrastructure: The college is spread over 150 acres of land and comprises various infrastructure for different departments, accommodation ranging from sharing rooms to personal flats and apartments, repairing and production buildings, agricultural lands, parks, etc. The hostel facility depends on the hostel or the accommodation you choose. The fee varies from hostel to hostel. There are air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms and separate accommodation for girls and boys and faculty members and their families.

Faculty: Faculty members here are highly educated and knowledgeable. They provide high and helpful content. The curriculum is somewhat modified compared to other universities or institutions, which is an advantage because it offers more core knowledge of the area of study and provides vast scope for industry-level knowledge. The level of semester exams depends on students preparation, but generally, the level of exams is moderate and not very hard for students who have basic knowledge of the respective subject.

Joining Rama University will give you a great experience.

Placements: I did BCA from this university and got placed in 3 companies in the final year namely HCL, Planet spark, and Pie Infocom. The placement team is very experienced and skilled. I got the highest salary package of 6.5 LPA. Many of our batchmates too got selected in different companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the hostel is fine. There are different boys and girls hostels named Raman House and Kalpana House. They are well furnished. The college is very vast and beautiful with well-equipped computer labs and libraries. We also have E-learning classrooms.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well versed and knowledgeable. Students and faculty members share a great bond. They are very helpful. Different exams are conducted for testing your knowledge, and you get assignments too to practice your course.

Other: I opted for this course because we know that in this growing technical world, technical knowledge is very important.
