B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2025

Good infrastructure of facilities.
Placements: About 30 to 40% of students get placements from the college. I think the highest package received is 20 Lacs, the lowest package is around 6 Lacs, and the average package is around 10 Lacs. Many companies come, like Tata Steel, Adani Power, and Reliance, among others. Only about 20 to 25 companies visit, and 60 to 70% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and the lab is very good and advanced. The library is also very quiet and fully air-conditioned. Classrooms are good but not air-conditioned. The hostel is nice, and the rooms are cleaned daily. There is a canteen, but the quality of food is lacking; it provides four meals a day. There is no medical support or games available.
Faculty: The teachers are good, and most of them are graduates from IITs. Semester exams are very hard; only about 60% of students can pass, while the others fail. Those who fail have to retake the exam, and if they pass, they can continue.
Other: The campus is small, and there are no activities inside the college, which needs improvement.

It is a good college for core branch students.
Placements: Majority of the core branches got an average package of 3.5 LPA. It is easy to go for higher education after this course. All the members of placement cell are good.
Infrastructure: The courses that this college provide are more than enough to know the core subjects and they will give you a clear vision to know about the imaginative part of the course. It has the best labs and it provides on field and off field experiences. The staff is also good and supportive.
Faculty: Faculty members are from IITs and all the faculty members are good in all aspects such as knowledge and understanding. They teach us more than enough for our exams. They focus more on application rather than theoretical aspects.

Industrial education, high college fees.
Placements: About 60 percent students got placed in civil engineering batch. Due to covid 19 placement got affected. Last year the highest package was 5.4 lacs per annum and the lowest package was 1.8 lac per annum. Average package was 2.5 to 3 lac per annum. Top recruiting company in college were TCS and Cognizant. 80 percent students got internship at Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and near by companies in Ahmedabad.
Infrastructure: There is Center of Excellence in the college. All labs are well maintained. There is workshop of siemens. Wi-Fi is available in colleges, classroom are good. There is a digital library. Quality of food is good. There is one small dispensary for medical and insurance for medical. Inter college sports tournaments also took place in college.
Faculty: All teachers are from IITs or Bits and highly knowledgeable and qualified. Teaching quality is best. Course curriculum is well updated as it is infrastructure college, modern methods and labs are according to that. All industry level experience can be felt. Semester exams are moderate. One need to study to pass exams. 90 percent is passing percentage.
Other: Civil Engineering courses is well updated and industry level experience can be feeled. Teachers are helpful. As college is infrastructure one, main focus is on industry level experience. There is no fee waiver in college. One need to pay 2lacs per annum. There are only few events in college, hostel is situated 1 km away from college.

If you want to learn skills which MNCs want from you, then take admission here.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students get placed with the highest salary package of around 5 LPA-6 LPA and an average salary package of around 2 LPA-3 LPA. Top recruiters here are Torrent, TCS, Wipro, Patel Construction, etc. Varied roles are offered as per the interest of students in a particular field, and those roles range from a project manager to a structural engineer.
Infrastructure: Overall, the campus is small. The first-year hostel is just 1 km away from the college, so it's easy to travel, whereas the hostel for other years is situated 10 km away from the college. However, bus facilities are provided by our college for that. Labs are great and probably the best in Ahmedabad. You have access to college Wi-Fi also.
Faculty: The course curriculum of our college was average before 2018, but recently it has been updated, and it's quite good now. Faculty members are highly educated and mostly done their PhD from IITs. They are very friendly with students. Due to less rush, students find it easy to contact any faculty member, and faculty members also guide us in private and professional life.

You should definitely take admission in IITRAM, and you won't regret it.
Placements: The campus placements in IITRAM are good. Overall, the placement rate of the batch 2019-20 was 60-75%. Out of 165 students, 121 applied for campus placements, and 52 opted for higher studies. Campus placements for 2020-21 are still in progress. Some of the students from 2020-21 are already placed in TCS and Cognizant. The highest salary package offered in the year 2019-20 was 5.4 LPA, and the lowest package was 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies that came to IITRAM were Tata, Extramarks, Toppr, Indiamart, Hitech Solution, Infosys, Torrent Power, and Torrent Gas Limited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IITRAM is very good. Though the campus is small, it is very well maintained. Every departmental building is constructed very well. The labs have every required instrument for students, and they are in working condition. For each branch, labs are available on their respective branch floor (like each has labs on the 2nd floor). The library is fully air-conditioned and has many standard books along with encyclopedias, novels, code etc. IITRAM has its own reading room where students can sit there in their free time and utilize the time in studying. Wi-Fi is also available for students, faculty members and staff. Many different clubs are also invented, like Rudrabots (Robotics club), music club etc. You can join any of them as per your interest. Mess food is good enough, and I would rather say it is average.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good. Their teaching style is pretty good. They not only explain theoretical concepts but also focus on providing practical knowledge. Along with the curriculum, many faculty members will also arrange site visits for students to get a better experience of real-world situations. Being an engineer, you have to face every situation in an ethical way. The teachers will help you in every path to your success. There are different subjects introduced in the 4th year, where you study every subject from ethics to technical subjects, like geotech (civil), machine learning (mech), and control system (electrical).
Other: IITRAM has a small and sweet campus, and there is no huge crowd. Every student excels themselves in a better way. I chose civil because structures have always encouraged me. I think each branch is excellent in itself. I love the labs of the civil branch, and you get the real feel of industry there. Many events are conducted, like Eunioa, Repurtus and many webinar sessions.

Not at all satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in this college are not all good. As the college is established in 2013, only one batch got placed. For my seniors, not many companies visited the campus for recruitment, but the faculty say this college has 100% placements for civil students.
Infrastructure: If the infrastructure is all about classrooms, library, labs and faculty room, then it has one of the best, but if we talk about playgrounds and sports area, then this college don't even have a single playground for the students and also the campus is very small. Not many activities are performed on the campus.
Faculty: As per the qualification of the faculty, most of the faculty members are qualified from NITs, IITs and the colleges in Germany and Japan. If we talk about knowledge and teaching quality, we don't get much knowledge as the faculty are unable to provide interest on the subject, and also they don't have proper knowledge about the subject.
Other: Scholarships are only for the students who get admission through ACPC like JoSSA. Faculty don't support the students in organising fest and events. Connectivity among the crowd is good.

On an overview the students willing to study so hard should take admission in our college.
Placements: The placements of the college are good when compared to other colleges of gtu. Since the college is new, the college is finding it difficult to bring the companies to our college. The first batch of our college had 100% placements from the campus which is a quite impressive aspect. In.
Infrastructure: The college has a very well-equipped laboratories. Centre of excellence is also there in our college course. Workshop of our college is very good because it has every necessary machine. Further, our college has excellent library. There is an in-house doctor of the college.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are very well educated. Most of them are Ph.D. in their respective fields. Many of the faculty members have studied from IITs, NITs, IISTs, IISCs. They have a lot of knowledge to give. The course curriculum of the college is designed by the IIT Gandhinagar. IIT Gandhinagar is the mentor of our college.
Other: TedX event, Tech fest of the college are organised in the college. The campus of the college is small having 2 small gardens, a mess and work shop behind the 6 floor college building.

The college is placed in the heart of the city, and it is an awesome place for being qualified.
Placements: The placements in the college done for the first time. The first convocation ceremony held in 2017. Almost 100% placement was awarded. The highest package offered was 15 lacs per annum. Mainly, the civil engineering and electrical engineering students got placed. Since the college only offered them placement training from the first year itself. For mechanical students, they give from second year onwards. The lowest salary offered was 1 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: The college is new, so the infrastructure is well-maintained. It has huge labs for all the fields, and there is 1:1 ratio on instruments and machinery for all the students. The classrooms are well-ventilated and built with modern technique. All the classrooms equipped with AC. The RO purifier is there to provide the drinking water.
Faculty: The teaching quality is best as a student may expect. It is changeable for a Hindi medium or Gujarati medium student to get on track as regular English medium student. The methods used by teachers are well for understanding. The student to faculty ratio is nearly 50:1.
Other: There is an event organised for every alternate year named Repertus, and all technical and scientific workshops conducted. There is a platform called Moodle for connecting students with teachers for sharing information. The college also has a game event every year organised by SKAI club of college, and many other clubs are also there like singing, music, literature, etc. A group of students has started an NGO to teach the students for free.

Hi there! Diploma holders can also apply for admission. They have to take lateral entry for that, lateral entry is given only at the time of 2nd year in the college. You can contact college authorities for the same. I hope you got your answer.

I was apprehensive at first. I am still to some extent. But one thing which was clear that it isn't a stereotypical B.Tech college. Study hard, you will get rewarded. It is kind of Senior Secondary School.
