Review of Rayat Bahra University.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in my course is 42%. The highest package offered to students is 17 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. The companies that come for our course are Royal Enfield, Eicher, Agri King Tractor, Indiana Ferro Alloy, etc. The roles offered to students in our course are calibration engineer, production engineer, junior engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in our department/course are great. They provide separate classrooms for every lecture, different labs for experiments related to our subjects, and a library with books related to every course. Hostel rooms are good, but bathrooms are very small. The mess food is sometimes bad, and we have to go through it without eating sometimes.

Faculty: Teachers are brilliant, with many Ph.D. holders. They are very helpful as they teach us everything, like things related to our life, etc. Course curriculum is relevant as it makes students industry-ready by providing training in workshops of companies like Royal Enfield, Eicher, etc.

Other: The reason why I selected the course is because it makes me more technically sound and knowledgeable about the industry I am interested in.

Our college is good.

Placements: In our college, around 50-60% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA to 9 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA to 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Royal Enfield and other companies offered jobs and placed students.

Infrastructure: Our facilities in our department were good and the mess food was average because they repeatedly prepared the same dishes every week. New students won't like the food and I had issues with food. The hostel warden was good and helped all students with any problems.

Faculty: Teachers were good and helpful. They were good at teaching students, but they could drop out of university for any reason. They made students good in their specific streams and courses. The average pass percentage was not fixed.

Other: I chose a diploma in mechanical engineering because I like machines.
