Yes, located in Mysore Road, Bangalore, the university is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission), Karnataka State Government, and BCI. Since, the university is approved by UGC, the degree is valid all over India. RV University is a state-private university and was established in 2019 with RSST as the sponsoring body.

The jobs opportunities such as Developer, Analyst, Application Tester and Web development and many roles are given to students based on there Skills. 98% of Job Placement done in B.Tech more than 35K+ students are placed all around India and World.

Gradually, the institution has gained recognition in the Bachelor of Design (BDES) program, due to the comprehensive curriculum and creative environment offered at RV University. The BDES course converges to several specializations, including product design, graphic design, and interaction design, in accordance with industry demands. As a result, practical learning is encouraged through workshops and projects or collaborations with industry professionals, making students produce good design portfolios.There is very good focus on skillful designers who are highly focused and guide and mentor students in both technical skills and in design thinking. There are different ways of seeking admission for Bachelor of Technology course at this university. Foremost and importantly is the requirement that a student must pass the 12th standard or equivalent examination with 60% of marks. After this the student has to appear either for KCET, which is the common entrance test, conducted by the state of Karnataka for admission to engineering colleges or RVSAT, the national level common entrance test that this university conducts for admissions to different undergraduate courses. Those students who are seeking admission under Government quota are given admission based on counselling conducted by the Karnataka state government based on the performance of the student in KCET against the Government quota in this university. For those who are competing for the balance seats, are selected based on their performance in RVSAT. Selected students based on their performance in this examination are called for personal interview in which their communication skills interest in the particular programme etc. are assessed and then the final offer letter is given to the students for paying requisite fees and finalise the admission.

Admission to BTech in CSE at RV University is done based on the scores obtained in the KCET exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have at lear 50% marks in class 12th in a relevant stream. Eligible candidates will have to appear for the KCET exam and secure valid marks to secure admission to the course.
