Really good college with top facilities but really average placements.
Placements: The college has average placements. Since the college is very new, the placements are not that great. Around 75-80% of the students are eligible for placements. The highest package was 43 LPA, the average stands at 8 LPA, and the lowest is about 4 LPA. Top companies included Deloitte, Amazon, Mu Sigma, and even NGOs like the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Infrastructure: The classes are very modern and have very good facilities. The classrooms give off American high school vibes. The Wi-Fi is average and sometimes bad. University library is top-notch and is one of the best university libraries in Bangalore. Hostels are good. Although they are outside the campus, students might have to come inside the campus to have food in the common mess. The food in the mess is vegetarian only and very good for hostel food, to be honest. There is a health center and a therapist on campus. University is also very active in sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and friendly. Some teachers might move fast in class, but you can let them know if you are not comfortable with that. The course offered here can make students industry-ready as it provides a highly technical curriculum and has a mandatory internship policy for graduation. The semester exams are easy to pass. 70 marks are for internal assessment, which is decided through CIEs. The remaining 30 marks are for the semester-end exam. The pass percentage is about 95%.
Other: I chose this course because it offers me the opportunity to study Economics with Data Analytics. The best thing about my course is that it is not regular textbook study. Rather, it is a degree where you learn Data Science tools and other skills. You can also study subjects from other schools as a minor in your second and third years. The downside of this university is that it is a new college, so it does not have a strong alumni network or good placements yet, but the RV tag could be very useful. You might find cool people here, and university has a social environment where you can get to know people from other courses.

It is the best university I found.
Placements: The placement percentage is 80-93 percent, and it varies by course. The highest package offered is 18.25 LPA, and the average package offered ranges from 6.8-7.5 LPA. Top roles offered in my course are UX/UI designer, interaction designer, industrial product designer, visual storyteller, and spatial consultant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is outstanding. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 overall. Wi-Fi, labs, canteen, and library are all really developed and useful. The medical and sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Exams balance 70 percent internals and 30 percent end-semester exams, fostering skills without overload. They ensure practical industry-relevant teaching. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not quite difficult, but are creatively challenging. I would rate 4.5 out of 5 for teaching quality with helpful and qualified faculty members. We have an industry-relevant curriculum.

Disappoint in the placements, infrastructure, and lack of college life.
Placements: Since I am a fresher I do not have much knowledge of the placements but as I heard it isn't that deserving since the students are placed at a very low amount and very few are being selected. It makes it more difficult since RVU and RVCE placements are different so it adds a lot more pressure on the students.
Infrastructure: The library is the best. It has a very good infrastructure and design. It has inbuilt study pods which make it really better and really cool, a PC, and an amphitheater inside as well for sitting. The library is the best place on campus. The food quality of the mess is bad and isn't tasty at all.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful as I have noticed till now hardly 1-2 have been helpful and the remaining are not helpful at all. They do not teach well and make it harder for the students to understand the topics and grasp the knowledge. The timetable isn't good either since there are no break.
Other: The best thing about the course is its engineering design according to the trend and not the old syllabus. There should be more fests, concerts, and everything so students can enjoy the concert more and their college life as well.

RVU is the best university that students can join.
Placements: Around 75 to 85 percent of eligible students got placed across major courses. The highest package is 10 LPA to 20 LPA, the average is 6 LPA to 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, and Accenture. Around 65 to 70 percent of students got internships. The top roles offered are software engineer, developer, and product engineer.
Infrastructure: My course and their infrastructure are very good and well-maintained. The university provides high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus, labs, and common areas. Laboratories are well-equipped with smart boards and projectors. Hostel rooms are good, comfortable, and clean. The medical facilities are available on campus and there is health care on campus
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and helpful to students always. All lecturers and faculty members in RVU are really caring. The course curriculum is well structured and relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult. They focus on both conceptual understanding and application-based questions.
Other: I chose this course because it provides a highly quality education for the BCA course in Bangalore and it's an honors course which is equal to B.Tech. Everything in this course feels so perfect, no improvements needed as of now, events happen usually for all festivals, and the campus crowd is well-disciplined. We have a metro just 10 meters away from the main GATE.

It has a good infrastructure and a wide range of options to choose from.
Placements: Around 90 percent of the eligible students get placed with an average package that ranges from 5-7 LPA. And some Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Wipro, etc. RVU provides internships from early semesters for students. BBA students get roles like business analyst, HR associate, marketing, and finance.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, and the library are the best parts of my college when it comes to campus life. Labs are equipped with centralised AC. Classrooms have smart boards, whiteboards, and a normal board with comfortable seating for students. Separate Wi-Fi is given for everyone (teachers, students, guests, etc.). The library is so modern and also has phone booths. An annual sports day is conducted, which consists of all the major outdoor sports. The food here is clean and average.
Faculty: Many teachers here are supportive and very professional when it comes to their qualifications and teaching quality. I mean, not all the teachers, but mostly are. The course outline is excellent, and they also provide a great variety of subjects to choose from (minors and electives), as well as the major. I'm pursuing BBA hons, and my minors are design, media, journalism, and electives are character design (comics and manga) in the previous semester. Semester-end exams are pretty easy and are conducted for 30 marks.
Other: I chose BBA Hons because I want to do an MBA in the future. I feel like there is nothing I would want to change about the course. Events and fests are a little less here. The campus crowd and connectivity are great.

Decent enough college for studio guys with good campus life.
Placements: Some students are left in placement, with the highest being 22 LPA as heard and the lowest 2 LPA, and companies visiting include tech giants like Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Infosys, Wipro, Intel, consulting firms like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, finance companies like HDFC, ICICI, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and others like Flipkart, Titan, Tata Motors, and Mercedes-Benz.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. As it is a new college, infrastructure is also great. Wi-Fi is pretty decent. Classrooms are comfortable and library is the best part of college. Sports ground is shared with RVCE and in total it is worth as a place to chill and enjoy.
Faculty: The teachers are good and well qualified, and use more like a digital way to explain the course to students. The course curriculum is the latest and relevant to the industry exposure. It makes students industry ready. Pass percentage is 35 percent in total for first sem.

No, appearing for CLAT is not mandatory for BA LLB admission at RV University. Valid score in SLAT is also accepted for admission. Students can also get admission on the basis of merit in last qualifying exam if they score minimum 70% in Class 10 and Class 12.
