SAGE University Launches Groundbreaking Liberal Education Program

July 8, 2024: India has a rising graduate unemployment issue as more than 26 percent of graduates are jobless. All this is attributed to the rigidity of the education sector that undertakes specialisation thus producing human resources that cannot adapt to the dynamic market needs. So experts have given indicators of switching from the integrated learning models at a historical level. In the categories of the ancient Universities like Nalanda and Takshila, considerably large Universities imparting liberal education including various fields were established in India. This strategy, incorporated later by most reputed international schools and establishments, appears to be less incorporated in the contemporary Indian educational structure.

One such Indian university is – SAGE University, which stands to correct this by tackling it head-on. One of their new Liberal Education plans for students contains basic subjects such as innovation, ethics, and negotiation, which are incorporated into every learner, irrespective of the area of study. Along with a variety of majors and minors’ options is to prepare graduates with a versatile skill set that will enable them to thrive in the rigors of the contemporary workplace.
