SASTRA University offers a B.Tech. program in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Admission to this program is determined by a combination of JEE Main scores and Class 12th marks. Specifically, 70% of the seats are allocated based on a weighted score comprising 25% from JEE Main and 75% from Class 12th marks. The remaining 30% of seats are filled based solely on Class 12th marks. The university calculates its own ranks using this weighted formula and does not adhere to external cut-off scores. Therefore, there isn't a predefined cut-off for the B.Tech. in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence program. Admission is competitive, and higher combined scores improve the likelihood of securing a seat. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's advisable to consult SASTRA University's official admissions page or contact their admissions office directly.

At SASTRA Deemed University, admission to the B.Tech programs, including Electronics and Communication (EC) and Information Technology (IT), is based on a combined score of 75% weightage from your Class 12 marks and 25% from your JEE Main score. With your 82.4% in Class 12 and an 80.99 percentile in JEE Main, your combined score would be around 82.05, which is a competitive score. While SASTRA does not have a fixed cutoff, this score increases your chances of getting admission to EC or IT, as these branches tend to have relatively high demand. For detailed information, it's best to check the official SASTRA admissions page.

Admission to SASTRA University's B.Tech Lateral Entry program is granted on the basis of merit earned in an accredited diploma program. Since SASTRA admissions are mostly merit-based, the cutoff trends for lateral entry programs are not available . However, depending on the volume of applicants and diploma achievement levels, the rivalry may differ throughout areas such as computer science, electronics and communication engineering, and others. The B.Tech Lateral Entry tuition for the 2023 academic year was roughly 65,000 per semester, plus extra costs for sports and development, for a program cost of about 4,28,825 in total

With a score of 966 out of 1000 in your board exams and 55% in JEE Mains, your chances of securing a seat at SASTRA University depend on several factors, including the specific course you're applying for and the current year's cutoff trends. SASTRA University typically considers both the JEE Mains score and the board exam marks for admissions, with a higher emphasis on board marks. A score of 966 out of 1000 is highly competitive, and it could significantly improve your chances, especially if you're applying for popular courses like Computer Science or Electronics. However, a 55% in JEE Mains may be a bit lower than the ideal range, as top universities often prefer higher JEE scores for engineering admissions. While it's possible to get a seat, your chances would be better if your JEE score aligns more closely with the typical cutoff range. I would recommend checking the specific course-wise cutoffs for the current year on the SASTRA University website and considering alternate pathways like the university's internal exam, if applicable.
