With a 92.43 percentile in JEE Mains and 65% in the CBSE board exams, it is possible to get admission to a B.Tech programme at SASTRA University, especially considering you are from Tamil Nadu, as the university gives weightage to both JEE Mains scores and Class 12 marks, particularly for state quota candidates.SASTRA University typically considers:JEE Mains score: The university generally accepts JEE Main scores for admission, and the minimum percentile required can vary each year based on the competition.Class 12 Marks: The university often requires a minimum of around 60% or higher in Class 12 for B.Tech admissions.Category-based Cutoffs: If you're applying under the Tamil Nadu state quota, the cutoff for certain branches might be lower than the All India cutoff. You may be able to get into a popular branch like Computer Science or Electronics with your percentile, but competition can vary depending on the demand for specific branches. It would be beneficial to directly check SASTRA University's official website for the specific year's cutoff for JEE Mains and board exam marks.

SASTRA considers both your group marks and JEE Main score for admission. They calculate a combined score based on a weightage system, typically giving more weightage to the JEE Main score.Your strong performance in both group marks and JEE Main significantly improves your chances of getting admission to SASTRA. However, the final decision depends on various factors like the cut-off, category, and specific branch you're applying for.To get a more accurate assessment of your chances, I recommend: * Check the Official Website: Visit the official SASTRA website for the latest information on admission criteria, cut-offs, and the weightage given to different components. * Contact the Admissions Office: Reach out to the SASTRA admissions office directly for specific queries and guidance. * Use Online College Predictors: Utilize online college predictor tools to get an estimate of your chances based on your JEE Main rank and other factors.Remember, a good strategy during the counseling process is crucial. Prioritize your choices carefully and be prepared to make quick decisions.

SASTRA University offers a B.Tech. program in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Admission to this program is determined by a combination of JEE Main scores and Class 12th marks. Specifically, 70% of the seats are allocated based on a weighted score comprising 25% from JEE Main and 75% from Class 12th marks. The remaining 30% of seats are filled based solely on Class 12th marks. The university calculates its own ranks using this weighted formula and does not adhere to external cut-off scores. Therefore, there isn't a predefined cut-off for the B.Tech. in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence program. Admission is competitive, and higher combined scores improve the likelihood of securing a seat. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's advisable to consult SASTRA University's official admissions page or contact their admissions office directly.

At SASTRA Deemed University, admission to the B.Tech programs, including Electronics and Communication (EC) and Information Technology (IT), is based on a combined score of 75% weightage from your Class 12 marks and 25% from your JEE Main score. With your 82.4% in Class 12 and an 80.99 percentile in JEE Main, your combined score would be around 82.05, which is a competitive score. While SASTRA does not have a fixed cutoff, this score increases your chances of getting admission to EC or IT, as these branches tend to have relatively high demand. For detailed information, it's best to check the official SASTRA admissions page.
