SIMATS does not offer a direct admission to B.Tech. An entrance exam is required.
The admission process for B.Tech is as follows:

• The JEE Mains and TNCE exams are used to provide admission at SIMATS
• Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their enterance exam scores are required to attend counselling sessions where they can select the B.Tech specialisation they want.
• The final merit list is prepared using factors other than JEE, such as 12th standard marks.

Students who have qualified for JEE-Main or have achieved 80% or higher in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible for a 50% fee scholarship offered by the institution. Based on their degree of accomplishment, SIMATS offers scholarships ranging from 10% to 50% of tuition fees in recognition of students' excellence in sports.
