Placements: College is not meant for placements. If students are looking for good college vibes, life, a lustrous green campus, with almost all facilities available, then they should join this college. There is no ragging, and we have to work hard. They do support us in placement, but are not solely oriented towards that.
Infrastructure: CSJMU boasts a sprawling 264-acre campus with modern academic blocks, well-equipped labs, and an air-conditioned 1,500-seat auditorium. The central library is rich in sprint and digital collections, and caters strongly to research needs. It provides hostels for both boys and girls, including a mess, recreation rooms, Wi-Fi, and security. Sports enthusiasts enjoy a full stadium, gym, multipurpose halls, and other fields. Facilities like a health centre, banking, helipad, and shopping complex round out a robust campus infrastructure.
Faculty: CSJMU offers a diverse portfolio of programs, including diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral degrees spanning disciplines such as management, mass communication, commerce, agriculture, IT, law, vocational studies, fashion, hotel management, and yoga. The university emphasizes interdisciplinary and flexible education, with 60% knowledge-based and 40% skills-based components across the curriculum. It conducts programs that include electives and modular options, and at least 25% of coursework involves lab, field, or project work. The course curriculum is reviewed annually and often reflects regional and social relevance. A good option for journalism.
Placements: I am a bachelor student so around 60-70% of students get placed from our college premises. If I talk about internships, every single student who is interested in an internship is doing one provided by our college. We even get an opportunity to work with government officials.
Infrastructure: We have a separate room for recordings and for photography which are both equally important for practical things. Hostel facilities are also good, you get AC facilities and hygiene is given the top priority. The canteen serves the best fried rice.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced, very helpful, and knowledgeable. The best part is that we get to explore the industry ourselves, and we get to know about the fieldwork, whatever we are studying in our classes we get to see it practically.
Other: The course is good. We get to explore ourselves in the media field to get to know about the industry and how things work in the background. One more thing about this college is that we get to organise the fest in which we get the opportunity to meet new people and to handle situations and crises at the same time. This makes you confident and gives you a leadership quality.

My university has an unbelievable environment to study, and it's really environmentally rich as well
Placements: Actually, all my seniors got internships, but not in famous places. They received a minimum package of 100,000 per annum, with the highest being 3 lakhs. Many of my seniors secured internships and jobs at News18 India, Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagran, Inext, etc. Our top recruiters are Hindustan, Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagran, and Big FM.
Infrastructure: We have a good environment for studying. The good thing is that we have a studio for news-related programs to practice. I think the hostel quality is average. The infrastructure is the best in our university in all of Uttar Pradesh, and the placement is also not bad; it's good.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and helpful, with good qualifications. In my department, most of them hold a Ph.D. The curriculum is relevant and helpful in the industry. Semesters are not very difficult, but they are also not so easy.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to enter the TV industry, and my course gives me the opportunity to turn my dream into reality.

Placements: As per the latest placement statistics, 80% of students from our B.J.M.C. are successfully placed in top companies, with the highest package being is 12 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters include advertising companies like Ogilvy and JWT, media houses like Times Group, Zee News, and Aaj Tak, online news portals like NDTV, social media companies like Facebook and Google, and event management companies like Fame India. With top roles such as content writers, digital marketing specialists, public relations officers, broadcast journalists, event managers, social media managers, media planners, anchors, and scriptwriters.
Infrastructure: Our B.M.M. department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure to support the academic and professional growth of students, including media labs, studio and production facilities, editing suites, library and resource center, computer labs, audio-visual equipment, and industry partnerships. Our college hostels provide comfortable and secure accommodation for students. College mess and canteen provide a variety of nutritious and hygienic food. Access to quality medical facilities, including a college clinic and medical room. Well-equipped sports facilities, including playgrounds, gyms, and indoor sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, and qualified senior faculty members. University faculty comprises experts in various disciplines, including journalism and mass communication, where students learn from professionals with industry experience.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about communication, media, and storytelling. This course offers a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of mass media. Our college hostels host a range of events throughout the year, including Media Fest, an annual festival that showcases student talent in media and communication with many creative events. Various cultural events and festivals are also celebrated in our college.

I am satisfied with the library and facilities, but a little bit disappointed with the syllabus.
Placements: For my course, there is no specific minimum percentage needed. Sometimes in the 2nd or 3rd year, students do get an internship. I don't know about the package placement, but as I know placement rate is low, but still available. In this course, there is no problem with the percentage at all.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, but we do have a library, a study library, a badminton court, 2 canteens, labs, etc. There is availability of hostel facilities, and food is average. There are so many games in my college, including yoga, badminton, karate, chess, kabaddi, and everything.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly. The exams are a little bit hard, but manageable and knowledge-based. The students build a nice base because of the curriculum, but still, they need to work with some teachers. The exams are always difficult because you don't know what's going to come.
Other: The campus should be improved at the university.

I'm satisfied with college and faculty, need improvement in placement. It has a great infrastructure
Placements: Being a student of BAJMC, around 25% of the students get placements in college, but nearly everyone gets a job role in daily newspapers as an editor or a freelancer, based on their skills. The highest package is 8 PLA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is 5.5 LPA. Dainik Jagran, Hindustan, Kanpur News, and ABC News are the top recruiting companies for our course. Around 50% of students get internships in daily news agencies, like Dainik Bhaskar, Dainik Jagran, K News, and ABC News. The roles offered are journalism, sub-editor, video editor, graphic designer, content manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, labs, and a library, with great infrastructure. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and cross-ventilation systems. Hostel facilities are available with great quality of sports and games, along with a large canteen area with impressive and fresh food. There is a hospital and an OPD inside the campus, and the mess facilities are also great.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, well-qualified, with more practical and field knowledge rather than bookish knowledge. The teaching quality is fabulous. The curriculum is well-designed and relevant. Semester exams are not so tough, they can easily be cracked. I really found the course curriculum relevant and applicable in the field.
Other: I wanted to pursue my career in a creative field, so I decided to do this course. It is more of a practical course, and that is the best thing about it. The graphic design teachers could be better. Events are less for freshers, but as you grow older with the course, you get more opportunities.
