Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, etc. About 40-50% of students secured internships during the course. Internships were offered by companies, Persistent Systems, TCS ION, startups in Nagpur & Pune, IT hubs, and Local software and web development firms. Top roles offered are Software developers/ Trainees, Web developers, Data entry, MS executive, and IT helpdesk Executive.

Infrastructure: Spacious and well-ventilated classrooms. Dedicated computer lab with good internet connectivity. Campus Wi-Fi is available for students. Well-stocked library for students, other facilities, food canteens, Medical facilities, sports and games facilities, cleanliness & maintenance.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, approachable, and supportive towards students. The curriculum of B.Sc. IT is designed to provide a balance of programming, database management, networking, and web technologies. Semester exams are moderately difficult. With regular study and practice, they are manageable. Internal assessment, practical, and viva contribute to the final marks.

Other: Best thing about the course is a strong focus on practical learning through the lab sessions and projects, supporting faculty, and guidance for career opportunities.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities are average in my college, as we get job opportunities by attending pooled campuses held at other colleges on their invitation. They don't call for any companies that reach out directly to our college for the placement of UIET students. There is a placement cell that manages to inform every student regarding the pooled campuses held at other colleges where UIET is invited. Company visits to our campus include Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Magicpin, and many more. Every year, about 65% to 75% of students get placed with an average package of 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: There is separate accommodation for boys and girls. With time passing by, the hostel management has been very particular about the rules and regulations, and the mess food was very good and hygienic.

Faculty: Faculty members are talented and able to explain topics. I find very good and experienced professors. Professors are knowledgeable and they are very cooperative. They help with everything from college issues to personal issues. I had very good relations with professors. Marks are divided in every section. You have 5 marks for attendance (if you have 75%). The mid-semester exam will be of 30 marks and end-semester exams will be of 50 marks. Exams are held in a good manner. The paper duration is 3 hours. The mid-semester exam is always in October for the odd semester and in March for the even semester.

I am not so happy with the college. Placements are good, but the infrastructure is not so good.

Placements: The round of campus placements is going on. Many companies are coming to the college to select students. The highest package of our college for the batch 2022-25 is a 4 LPA. Positions for the job like front-end developer, back-end, and many more.

Infrastructure: Our campus has a total of 12 floors, with the 7th and 8th floors dedicated to BCA and B.Sc. (IT). We have labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms big enough to the capacity of 70 students. Our campus does not have any hostel facilities. If you are from outside, you have to see PGs and hostels outside.

Faculty: In our college, some teachers are helpful, and for some, it depends on their mood. Faculty don't respond to our WhatsApp messages. Curriculum-wise, it is okay, I guess. Semester exams are not too difficult, it depends on how much you have studied. Question banks are given before the semester exam. The passing percentage of the semester must be around 90%.

Other: I get interested in the software sector, so I choose this course. I learn many new things in this course. And talking about the campus, it could be improved. The parking area and cleanliness of washrooms need. The crowd of the campus I see is not too good. The college doesn't have many fests, but it does have some, in which I'm not interested personally.

Placements: College is not meant for placements. If students are looking for good college vibes, life, a lustrous green campus, with almost all facilities available, then they should join this college. There is no ragging, and we have to work hard. They do support us in placement, but are not solely oriented towards that.

Infrastructure: CSJMU boasts a sprawling 264-acre campus with modern academic blocks, well-equipped labs, and an air-conditioned 1,500-seat auditorium. The central library is rich in sprint and digital collections, and caters strongly to research needs. The university emphasizes interdisciplinary and flexible education, with 60% knowledge-based and 40% skills-based components across the curriculum. It conducts programs that include electives and modular options, and at least 25% of coursework involves lab, field, or project work. The course curriculum is reviewed annually and often reflects regional and social relevance. Additionally, there are regular seminars and workshops by industry and academic experts that keep both faculty members and students updated. It has good teachers.

Placements: In my batch, more than 30 students got placed. They help with placement by superset and have cooperative placement officer team. I am currently a student at Sadabai Raisoni Women's College, Nagpur, and my experience here has been quite positive.
