Sikkim University is located in a peaceful town with various courses to opt from.
Placements: We don’t have a placements cell so this is actually something that I can’t answer. However, there is a discussion regarding the reopening of the Cell and the Students Union is doing their best for the same. But once we pass out, we can have chances of employments in private institutions.
Infrastructure: The main campus is still under construction but the departments are quite nice. Though it's spread across various areas, the bus service makes it easy for the students to travel which you can track with the GPS tracker. Also, we have access to the central library which is quite nice too.
Faculty: All the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and they have really good knowledge about their subjects. The exams are categorized into 3 sessional tests contain h 25 marks out of which, the best of two are extracted and 50 marks are kept for the external. In total, it consists of 100 marks. We get to enjoy diversity which is the best part.
Other: The University is associated with CUET so you have to crack the entrance exam and at least get a score over 100, but it also depends up on the caste you belong to. There is also an annual fest celebrated in the University but the venue is one hard nut to crack.
