Low fees amount but education and infrastructure are worst.
Placements: Students are placed in various hospitals, fitness centres and other institutions based on their academic performance and the presentation in the personal interview. I am currently working in herbal life institutions. The students get a good exposure in the practicals labs and workshops which give them good abilities to perform better in the interviews. In the beginning, there are very few companies and institutions offering placements for postgraduates in the university, but the university is trying to approach many companies and institutions for providing placement opportunities to the postgraduates. Placements are offered to only few of the students in the campus placements but there are a veriety of jobs available for the students of this particular food and nutrition course. The minimum salary offered to the students of this course as a starting salary is Rs. 20,000 per month. The salary of the candidate increases as the experience of the person increases. There are video opportunities to the students who are doing masters in food and nutrition course. Teaching can be opted by the students as a career option and that would bring in a lot of development in the teacher as he/she must learn much more before teaching the students. Research is also an area where the postgraduates would get a lot of exposure about the particular topic in which the person is interested in related to the subject he or she have learnt in the previous studies. The various roles like nutritionists, dietitian etc., have been offered to the students as a part of the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good compared to other nutrition-related institutes. The classrooms are dirty, and no proper cleaning is available in the university. The labs are not clean, and sanity of them is nill. There are various types of equipment for quality analysis and other cooking equipment like ovens, stoves in the food lab and other quality analysis equipment like beakers incubators etc. The infrastructure is not that modern, and the buildings are old. There will be a lot of shit and litter of birds and other animals in the classrooms and on the benches. So do not prefer this college based on the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty are available, but they do not take classes and do not guide the students properly. They take the personal grudge against the students and try to give the marks according to their wish and not based on the student's performance. The only good thing about the college and university is the nature and scenery around the university. It is so peaceful and amazing to be in such an area. Try checking out that place carefully before taking admission here.
Other: Events like college day, hostel day, women's day, etc., are organised in the university. There will be no much entertainment.

Dissatisfied with campus selection.
Placements: 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary is Rs 80,000 LPA. The lowest salary is Rs 20,000 per month. Average package is Rs 40,000 per month, based on the position, in any food manufacturing companies and quality checking labs. 100% of students got internships from our class, and at Biscuit a cookies manufacturing company. Some of the people went to labs for internships, banking companies like Sunrise, Modern, Odisha, and Dairy Forms. Roles offered are quality control, quality checking, and food safety officer.
Infrastructure: We have good classrooms. We have seminar hall. There is Wi-Fi in our department. Our labs are in good manner, and we have good library in our university. There are so many books related to our course. It's very helpful for our assignments and all. Facilities in our hostel are not that much good it's adjustable. Food is good, and they have a menu plan. Canteen food is good. We have good medical facilities, and we consult our doctor, who is very good. There are so many sports and games in our university, and there's yoga also.
Faculty: About their teaching quality, they are very good at that, they can teach us well. They are very helpful. They can clarify our doubts whenever we ask. Course curriculum is relevant for the industry. Semester exams are not difficult because our faculty taught everything in our syllabus, and we have industrial visits that make it easy. Pass percentage in our classes is 95% and sometimes 100%.
Other: I like food very much and like to taste all kinds of foods and invent new food items that too in a good nutritious way. Campus selection is not in our course. I wish if campus selection is there, it might be helpful for our juniors without difficulty. Events and fests are there at our university. Our department is active in that, and it provides food stalls and accessory stalls. 100% scholarships for the people who are selected for free seats.
