Sri Sri University Inaugurates Firing Range
August 19, 2022: For all NCC cadets, range fire is a crucial and required training exercise. The technique of shooting is taught to cadets during weapon training, which is a crucial component of NCC. This is done in order to help the cadets overcome their phobia of guns. The skill of shooting develops a cadet's overall well-being and teaches precision, accuracy, coordination of body motions, confidence, and other skills that help them become better public speakers.
A 50M Short Shooting Range, established by the 1 Odisha Bn NCC (Army) in collaboration with Sri Sri University on August 3rd at around 10:30 am, was officially opened by Gaurav Sharma, Director of Operations, Sri Sri University, and Col. To commemorate the historic event, a large number of junior officers from the 1 (O) Bn NCC as well as faculty and personnel from Sri Sri University were present.

Mr. Gourav Verma, Directorate of Operations, Sri Sri University, and Col.
