There is a sanctioned seat intake for each of the BSc specialisation. Candidates are admitted at the time of counselling based on the seat intake. As per the official website or sanctioning body, there are 100 seats each for BSc Nursing and BSc Nursing (Package) programmes. The Karnataka Examinations Authority closes the KCET application form in 30-35 days after it releases the notification. Candidates can fill out the KCET application form at kea.kar.nic.in till the last date.

For admission to the College of Management and Commerce, students should get a minimum of 25 marks in semester end examinations and a minimum of 25 marks in the internal assessment to pass in the particular subject.

 For admission to the College of Education, candidates with at least 50% marks either in bachelor's degree and/or the master's degree or any other qualifications equivalent thereto are eligible.

For admission to the College of Social Sciences & Humanities, post-graduates in respective disciplines mentioned above with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply.

 For admission to the Diploma in Engineering/Technology program, candidates passing the Diploma in Engineering/Technology examination with a minimum of 50% marks from AICTE approved Polytechnics are eligible.
