SRM University Sikkim admission to its courses is merit-based. The University offers UG, PG, and doctoral programmes through its nine departments. There are 38 courses which include professional courses like BTech, MCA, MBA, etc., as well. SRM Sikkim Admission to MBA and BTech programme is entrance based whereas admission to the rest of all the courses is merit-based. The university also offers diploma, advanced diploma, and vocational degrees in the field of Software Development and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. SRM University conducts its own entrance exam for MBA admission and BTech admission, called SRMJEEM and SRMJEE respectively.

Yes, SRM University Sikkim is one of the best Collage in Gangtok. The Campus infrastructure is too good and the placement in this Collage. From 6 semesters students are eligible for applying on-campus placements. There are ample companies like Sun pharma,  Mercedes-Benz, Hilton, ICICI Bank, Indigo, and many more. In 2018, 90% placement was provided.

SRM University Sikkim is a respectable private university in northern India, in my opinion. Regarding placements, the situation is not ideal, although it is improving yearly as of right now. It decreased by about 5-10 lacks annually. The package is decent, but fees seem much more expensive than getting good placements, in my opinion. Although many companies visit each year, the average package price is between 5-10 lakhs.

During the SRM Institute of Science and Technology placements in 2022, the highest package offered was INR 1 crore annually. Prior to this, INR 50 LPA was the highest package available for SRM Institute of Science and Technology placements in 2021.

Yes, The SRM University Sikkim more expensive than The ICFAI University, Sikkim. For Example, The MBA for 2 years costs 1.45 lacs in SRM University Sikkim. And in the ICFAI University, Sikkim, It costs around 97,000 INR. 

It's fairly simple to get direct admission to SRM University if you meet all the requirements. Because of the intense competition for admission to this university, it is critical that you do well on both the university's entrance exam and your class 12 exam. When SRM University Sikkim and The ICFAI University, Sikkim are compared, it is clear that SRM University has a small placement advantage. SRM University offers a median package of INR 3.2 LPA for B.Tech students and it boasts an 85% placement rate. Leading Indian and international companies are on their impressive list of top recruiters. SRM University Sikkim boasts a larger list of recruiters than the ICFAI University, Sikkim.

Despite still providing respectable placements with a 75% placement rate and a median package of INR 2.8 LPA. Both universities offer comparable packages and welcome A-rated businesses.ICFAI University provides a wide range of employment and placement options for traditional degree programs.
