The food in the mess at Swami vivekanand Subharti university is good and well cooked. Swami Vivekanand Subharti University's library has a collection of more than 25000 books, 150 international, 250 national and 400 e-journals. It also has other aids, internet facilities and subscription to various e-journals. There is a huge projector room, a separate reading room and a seminar room for the learners. Learning CDs/DVDs and other audio-visual aids are also available for students.

SVS-University offers an excellent choice of places to eat on the university campus. University houses have six canteens which offer multi-cuisine menus ranging from Indian to Continental and Chinese in a modern and hygienic ambience, with one exclusively for girls. For snacks, juices, beverages and other Indian and Continental fast foods, there are three modern cafeterias on the university campus.
- Hostel
There are 14 hostels including 2 NRI hostels within the university campus. The hostels maintain strict timings of entry. All hostels have a resident warden and also a chief warden (girls/boys separate) for the proper management and care of the students. The hostels have facilities like air cooler/ air conditioner facility as per demand, 24x7 hot and cooled water supply, 24x7 power supply, free internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system, indoor games - TT, carom and chess, badminton and volleyball courts, television room and study room.
