Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Rama Himalayan University Uttarakhand admission is based on NEET UG, NEET SS, Uttarakhand NEET exams. The institute releases the cutoff lists separately for these exams, for admisison to various courses. For instance, for MBBS admission, the exams accepted are NEET and Uttarakhand NEET. 

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for Session 2. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be held from 2nd April 2026 to 9th April 2026. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 for Session 2 will be available on the website.

Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Rama Himalayan University Uttarakhand cutoff 2024 was released for candidates seeking admission to the MBBS course. The cutoff was released on the basis of NEET and Uttarakhand NEET. As per the UTtarakhand NEET cutoff 2024, the cutoff rank for the General All India category was 341221. For the General Home State categiry candidates, the cutoff was closed at 192476.

Though there are better programmes offered by other universities, this one is nevertheless strong in its own right. It is not the finest overall, even though SRHU is unquestionably one of the best colleges in Dehradun. The university has an outstanding placement record, having placed over 600 students by the end of 2023.They attract reputable firms such as Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and others because of the great career opportunities they offer.

Referring to alumni networks and legacies, SRHU is somewhat younger than certain other Dehradun universities. Given some majors, there's a probability that SRHU's tuition is more than that of several other Dehradun colleges. Currently, SRHU may not be as highly regarded in national rankings such as NIRF, compared to certain other prestigious universities.
