Good course and teachers, but the placements were not great.
Placements: We did not really have campus placements. During my time, there was not much scope for a corporate placement. Most of my seniors and my classmates got placed in government or non-governmental research organisations like TERI, IIFT, Centre for WTO Studies, Planning Commission etc. A lot of us also went for higher studies. For placement, we had just a couple of more research organisations. The corporate placement scenario may have changed now.
Infrastructure: In general, the infrastructure is excellent. The only trouble we had was with the library which was more like a reading room. The classrooms were very good with all ICT amenities. They were centrally conditioned and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi in college was also pretty strong and we never faced an issue. I did not indulge in sports, so I will refrain from commenting on it.
Faculty: The faculty team was brilliant during my time as we had excellent teachers. They were extremely helpful and considerate. The one thing I admire most about my education here was the free teacher-student interaction which is often missing in the elite colleges. I never had a problem reaching out to my teachers for any sort of help. The teacher-student ratio was also high, but we did not have much industry exposure, mainly because the curriculum did not require so. But nevertheless, it would have been useful and a unique experience had it been there. The course curriculum was no different from the top colleges. The only problem that I possibly had was that the teachers were fairly young and hence if you plan to continue further studies from abroad, the network effects are quite low for us.

Other: TU is extremely Open University when it comes to student's rights, it enlightens one's knowledge with practical application of theoretical framework. Interactive and fun loving atmosphere. Though, all positive but this college still is unable to bring good companies for placement which is a sad part. But for research and environment related subjects this is the best university.

Q:   Do students get their ROI after completing MBA from TERI University?
A:

The return on investment (ROI) of a degree programme from a well-known institute is highly dependent on the course that the student has opted for, their overall grooming to tackle interviews and placement opportunities. M.B.A. in Sustainability Management offered by TERI University assists students in realising the necessity, obstacles, and strategies for achieving long-term business goals through resource management and optimisation without sacrificing profitability.
