Merit Scholarships based on Past Academic Record
Percentage of marks achieved in the qualifying examination will decide the amount of scholarship. The scholarship amount can be adjusted in the Semester I fee payable.
1. 50% Scholarship is given to the candidates who have achieved >= 90% (CGPA: 9.9) and above in the qualifying examination.
2. 40% Scholarship is given to the candidates who have achieved >= 80% and <90% (CGPA: 8.8- 9.9) in the qualifying examination.
3. 30% Scholarship is given to the candidates who have achieved >= 70% and <80% (CGPA: 7.7-8.8) in the qualifying examination.
4. 20% Scholarship is given to the candidates who have achieved >= 60% and < 70% (CGPA: 6.5-7.7) in the qualifying examination.
Merit Scholarship in Semester II to last semester
Based on previous semester performance (GPA)
- Top 5% of the class - 50% of semester fee)
- Next 5% of the class - 30% of semester fee
Yes, ICFAI University Jharkhand offers various “Merit Scholarships” based on past academic records and merit scholarships in the second semester to the last semester. However, to avail of the scholarship, a few terms and conditions also apply. Students are advised to visit the official website to know more.

The students who get selected for BTech admission in ICFAI University, Jharkhand will be notified by the university by July 2026. Thereafter they have to pay the admission fee and the tuition fee for the first semester to confirm their seat. The classes for the new academic session will begin in Aug
