Placements: I am a B.Tech Information Technology student from the 2027 batch at Uka Tarsadia University. Placements are average, with around 60% of students placed. Highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, lowest salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA, and average salary offered is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and Tatvasoft. About 50% of students received internships, mostly in small IT firms or startups. Roles offered were mainly software developer, QA tester, and support engineer. Placement support is decent but could improve. Many students rely on off-campus drives for better opportunities, especially in specialized domains like cybersecurity or data Science.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure at Uka Tarsadia University for B.Tech IT is below average. Classrooms are basic with limited SMART features. Labs are often overcrowded, and many computers are outdated. Wi-Fi is available but frequently unreliable. Library has a decent collection, but many books are outdated. Hostel rooms are small and lack proper ventilation and cleanliness. Mess food is repetitive, often tasteless, and not very hygienic. Canteen offers limited options at high prices. Medical facilities are minimal, with only a basic clinic. Sports facilities exist but are poorly maintained. Overall, both academic and hostel facilities need significant improvement.

Faculty: Faculty at Uka Tarsadia University for B.Tech IT is disappointing. Many teachers lack proper industry exposure and mainly focus on theoretical knowledge. Practical teaching and real-time project guidance are minimal. Curriculum is outdated and does not match current industry standards, making it hard for students to become job-ready. Key areas like AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing are not given enough importance. Semester exams are relatively easy, and the pass percentage is high (around 85 to 90%), but students often pass without gaining real skills. Overall, the course does not prepare students well for professional careers or competitive job markets.

Other: I am from the B.Tech Information Technology batch of 2027. I chose this course because of my interest in computers and the growing demand for IT professionals. Best part of the course is the flexibility to explore different domains like web development and programming. However, the course needs major improvements in terms of practical exposure, an updated syllabus, and industry-focused training. Events and tech fests are conducted, but not regularly or on a large scale. Campus crowd is average, and extracurricular activities are limited. Connectivity to the campus is good, and some scholarships are available for meritorious students.

Our college used to be the best before.

Placements: In our college, many companies come under placement drives, and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Most of the companies that visit here are from Surat, and some are from Ahmedabad. All companies have some criteria and they take exams and interviews, and our college prepares students for them in pre-placement talks.

Infrastructure: We have computer labs, and Wi-Fi in every classroom and library too. We have a good sports ground along with a basketball court and other sports facilities, and good boys and girls hostels too. We have so many good canteens and even restaurants here where you can eat delicious food, and we have a mess too for hostel people.

Faculty: Faculty members here are so friendly, and the relationship between faculty members is good. Here they take 2 internal exams of 40 marks each and 1 external examination of 60 marks, which is also the final exam, and the passing criteria is 40 marks for every student.

Other: We host many events in our college like Teach Fest and Global Youth Fest. Our college holds sports activities every year for each department separately, and we have inter-college tournaments too.

Huge campus and good infrastructure and events.

Placements: About 60–70% of students are placed in this course. Many companies visit our college for placement; our top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, reliance and many more startup companies. They do visit and they offer an average package of 3–4 LPA, and the highest package is 10 LPA, according to me.

Infrastructure: Every department has its own classroom and lab, and in each class and lab, Wi-Fi is available. There are three hostels, one for college students (boys) and one for college students (girls) and another one is for school students (boys only) and there is a gym and sports club inside the campus only. There are also medical facilities available. The food and gym bills are all included in the hostel fee only and for more information, you can visit the university for a better experience .

Faculty: Here,, the HOD and professors are all qualified with Ph.D. and Masters degrees and knowledgeable and their teaching quality is good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Here, the midterm exams are easy but the external exams are a little bit hard and difficult, as the external papers were set by university .

Other: I chose this course to explore new upcoming technology and what I wish to be better about this course is that one should focus on practical skills rather than theory, and the events that are organized by the college are amazing.

Placements: Students of our college get eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, HCL, and many more. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. Around 80% of students get placed every year. The placement cell of our college is very helpful.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are provided in our college. Many computers are available in the labs. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Library is open to all students. Food served in the mess is tasty and of good quality. Cricket, football, and basketball are played on campus.

Placements: They provide 100% placements. The highest package offered is not that good. This is a good university for B.Sc. Some of the top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Almost all seniors are placed in good and reputed organisations.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, with good buildings. It has a good classroom design. Every classroom has a projector and a very good stair class system. There is also a good ventilation system, so you won't feel hot in class. The campus is green, so you will like to stay and study with nature and greenery. The university has a central library which is open for students and staff members from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on all working days. The state-of-the-art library has a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international periodicals, journals, and magazines, along with CDS and video cassettes in all branches of Pharmacy, Engineering, Science, Technology, Management, Bio-Technology, Science, Nursing, and General Studies. Books and editions are upgraded on a regular basis. The library is fully automated and has an ultra-modern E-Resource center where students can access information from across the world over the internet. The library has a spacious reading room for students for the purpose of reading library books and journals.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and they are very humble. If you don't want to study, they don't force you to study. They will ask you to go out and give you attendance so those who want to study can concentrate and study. Exams are hard, so you need to study to pass them.

Placements: The placements are not good enough. Internships are average. Some brilliant students are able to get internships. The college provides 100% placements, but the packages are not very high, around 2 to 3 LPA, which is not good for us after paying around 80,000 fees per year. Placements are not satisfactory, and you have to prepare for off-campus drives for good placements.

Infrastructure: The course and hostel are very good. The infrastructure is very good, and the hostel is also very good. It provides the best facilities, food and lounge. You will never stay hungry, and the food is very good. The hostel also has rooms according to your needs, like 1 person to 4 persons per room.

Faculty: The curriculum and exams are designed very well. You have to study very well. Exams sometimes seem very hard if you don't study. So you have to study to pass the exams. The curriculum is fine, so you won't get any problems with the syllabus.

Other: The campus is fairly attractive, situated in a decent location with strong infrastructure, and I enjoy my campus life quite a bit. There is an incubation centre inside the campus that will develop the research and development activities for students. Students are given training from the second year for innovative projects. It is a very good place to learn.
