University of Rajasthan is a public/ government university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is one of the oldest universities in the state. It was set up in 1947 as the University of Rajasthan in 1956. Yes, Rajasthan University commonly known as UNIRAJ provides MA programme in various specialisations including English, French, Hindi, Urdu, Philosophy, Psychology, History, Economics, Political Science and Sociology. To be eligible for these programmes at UNIRAJ the aspiring candidates need BA with a minimum 48% aggregate or 55 % in the discipline of Post-graduation or any equivalent degree by UNIRAJ with at least 55% aggregate.
