I am not satisfied with the faculty members and placements.
Placements: Placements in my college for BCA are not very good. Only 30-40 percent of students in our batch got placed. Most students get jobs from small or local companies, not big companies. The highest package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA. Mostly, small IT companies and startups came for hiring. Big companies like TCS or Infosys rarely visit the college. Internship chances are also low, and only a few students got them on their own. Common roles offered are junior developer, support staff, data entry, and basic IT jobs.
Faculty: Faculty members are not that experienced. Most of them are like trainee teachers who come here to gain experience for a year and then move to better colleges, so the teaching quality is not that great. The BCA course itself follows the Calicut University syllabus, which is good. The main issue is the faculty members. Exams are not very difficult if we study basics. Many students are able to pass, so the overall academics depend more on self-study than teaching.
Other: I chose BCA because I'm good at coding and completed my 12th board in computer science. The coding seems to work for me, but I wish they taught a new way or a modern way rather than this old stuff. Events in college are rare. The management does not allow many events in college. All events are like those small clubs, and those are dull events.

Review of St. Mary's College, Sulthan Bathery.
Placements: There are a few placement opportunities. No IT companies visit the college, so there are very few opportunities for placements. Students go for internships in Calicut or other districts, which are funded by themselves. The college does not provide internships.
Infrastructure: There is no free Wi-Fi. Labs are good. Many computers are not working. There is no big lab. The hostel is good, but the quantity of food served is very low. The canteen is good but not big. The college is good at sports and NCC. The medical support is bad here.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but not helpful. The teaching quality is low. The course curriculum is not relevant because it won't give a job. Semester exams are a little tough. The pass percentage is high, but results are lagging, which may take many months.
Other: BCA is a good course if someone loves to work in the IT field. The college is good. The department is not good and friendly. There is no field visit for our department. Only Onam is the big event organised here.

One of the best colleges to pursue BCA.
Placements: College doesn't provide any placement opportunities to the students. About 50 percent of the students were placed from our previous batch by their own effort. The highest package offered for our students is recorded as Rs 20,000 per month. The minimum salary is known to be Rs 10,000 per month. Usually, our college students depend on other agencies or do internships to find a job. College doesn't provide an internship opportunity to the students. Top roles offered for our course include computer engineer, software developer, back-end developer, front-end analyzer, etc.
Infrastructure: For our course in our department, there is a computer lab available about 50 desktops and Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are well-equipped with good ventilation and lighting facilities. We have an average library with a good collection of books relevant to BCA. There is no hostel facility available in this college. Food available in the canteen is just average. College doesn't provide any medical facilities to the students. Various sports and games are encouraged in the college, which include cricket, football, volleyball, chess, and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers are found to be helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is experienced as awesome. I found this course and syllabus to be relevant in this era, especially in the AI era. The course makes the students ready for the industry. I experienced the course as medium difficult, and the exams are conducted correctly each summer. Exams are conducted by the university. The minimum pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I chose this course mainly because I love working from home. This course enables us to have many paths to do a job from the comfort of our life. The college should immediately start a placement and a training cell. The college needs to sign MoEs with the major industries relevant to this course. They should improve library by collecting more relevant books. I also recommend that the college provide hands-on training with new methods and projects to make them industry-ready.

The mountains loved college.
Placements: Above 80% mark in the plus two classes was offered to my course. The highest package was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. Microsoft, HDFC Bank, and Federal Bank were the companies that offered jobs. Above 95% percent of students got an internship from my course. The top roles offered were Data Analyst and Software Developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are above average. The college had a common library which held all types of books and was very spacious so that all other department students could also use it. The food is also awesome, which changes the routine monthly, and we also had an annual sports meet.
Faculty: The teachers were very aweful that all of them cared like their own children. They gave us all types of priority to study well and pass the semester exams. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exams are not as difficult as we think.

BIAS absolutely satisfied with the course.
Placements: I have just started the Bachelor's degree, and it is a one-year program by Calicut University. In the fourth year, we will be having internships, and they will also provide placement. After a four-year program, the PG will be changed into a one-year program.
Infrastructure: About the course, I chose BCA because I am interested in coding and programming. There are lab assignments, and there are sports and activities. The hostel facilities are normal, but the food is not excellent or good. There is no neatness in the hostel.
Faculty: Some of the subject teachers are helpful, and they try their best to get a good mark. The coming exam is our first semester exam. 64% is the pass mark for the first semester. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are very friendly and active in addressing all the problems.

I am absolutely satisfied with my facility.
Placements: No students were placed from our college through the college placement cell. Some got internships in a few companies with potential skills and good marks, like 90% and above students. The top roles offered are software development and Data Science analysis.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a hostel yet. They say it will come or open a hostel within this year. Now, students are staying in private hostel rooms. Also, most of them are day scholars in this college, so they don't use hostel facilities. Also, most of them, 90% students, are day scholars.
Faculty: The college faculty is very good and disciplined, and knowledgeable teachers and their support make students happy. Also, the principal is a very kind-hearted person who gives us programs, etc. The BCA semester is very difficult, and the fee is also high compared to other departments.
