This college is well-known.
Placements: I have completed by graduation in BCA from Don bosco College kollam. It is a very good college run by a well organised management. It provides placement assistance to students who have completed the course without any backpapers. Many top IT companies come here for recruitment. This college has a very high percentage of students getting placed in top companies through campus placements. Top recruiting companies are wipro. The highest package offered is 5lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 2.5 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Don Bosco provides very good facilities. It had a well-maintained library with a very good collection of books, a computer lab, a spacious auditorium, and classrooms with projectors. Hostel was inside of campus and was quite welcoming and strictly run by the official.
Faculty: College has a well organised faculty which is very strict. Exams are conducted regularly to check the progress of the students. Teachers make extra efforts to give each students special care and concern. Internal exams are well conducted which meets the same standard as that of the university exams.

College is good, but you can find a better alternative.
Placements: Minimum requirement is 75% to be placed in the course. We have around 1.3 lakhs studying in all three years. Wipro Infosys-like companies are mainly hiring. They had offered packages around 6 lakhs per annum. Internship support is very low. We can make data science and machine learning a career.
Infrastructure: Our college has no hostel facilities. Most of them are coming from home; at least, the majority of students are only in rent. Classroom facilities are awesome, and all classes are smart. Wi-Fi support would be available soon after they offered it, but no further movements? Libraries are awesome.
Faculty: Teachers are so talented and hard-working; they are old. We celebrate their work as well as project making. Teachers provide asking opportunities, and the programs and functions are conducted well at all occasions. All occasions are mainly Indian and are properly and entertainingly done.
Other: I chose the BCA course because I want to be a part of the tech field industries. We can learn so many languages like Python , C, C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP. College provides scholarships to the most outstanding students, and they get scholarships every year. The campus is nice.

Very much dissatisfied with college. Faculties other than teachers are worse. Very strict campus.
Placements: Most of the students were not placed because of their low CGPA, I guess. In a batch, only 5 or 6 students are good at studying; the rest of them are average or below average. Skills are encouraged; only marks are important for them. Teachers were very supportive. I think the packages we get from placements are about 33 LPA for students who are good at studying.
Infrastructure: I'm a day scholar, but the hostel is worse. Ragging is there. Labs are available; some of the systems are not working, and some computers automatically shut down when students are engaged in programming, so Lab is available. Canteen food is available. Sports and game facilities are not encouraged properly.
Faculty: Teachers were so good and kind. The quality of teaching is good. But the course curriculum is not relevant. In the first-year semester examination, it was good, but in the second semester, the exams were very tough; students did not even know from which modules these questions came from. From this semester on, the pass percentage will be very low.
Other: The campus is worse students do not have the right to freely roam on campus. Our college is self-finance, so it is very strict. I will not recommend others to join this college. We cannot enjoy our college life.

Fantastic infrastructure and good faculty members.
Placements: Most of the students are placed. Both are computer based courses. The college provides good placement guarantee. The placement is based on our semester marks and our performance in the interview. Wipro, Infosys, etc. are the top recruiter.
Infrastructure: Clean Campus, Good Computer Labs, Nice Canteen and Coffee bar are available. There are 3 computer labs. A big library is available with more than six thousand books. The campus is covered with CCTV cameras. The campus is ragging free. Inside the campus, all the students are safe and satisfied.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and they have good knowledge about their subjects. Monthly class tests and internals are conducted. They provide study material to all the students. They are friendly to all the students. Sometimes, the semester exams are difficult. 75+% is the pass percentage. When you get a supplementary then the teachers will help you to pass in that.
Other: Technology is improving day by day. BCA is a good course for the future world.

It is an excellent college in terms of academics and placements.
Placements: The percentage is not a key element to getting placed in our college. Even one of my friends, who has one backlog got placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. We can get placed as data analysts, software developers, software testers, etc., in the IT industry.
Infrastructure: The hostel provides decent accommodation and food. However, hostel rules are a little discouraging for us because we are not permitted to use our phones after 10 PM. Students must study from 7 PM to 9 PM. After college, students can play on the ground and on the basketball court.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and friendly with students. Most of them are teaching after having worked in various industries, so they have practical knowledge that they can pass on to students. Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are average. After their final year, the students are made ready for the industry.
Other: Fests and events are fewer.

I am satisfied with faculty but not with the infrastructure.
Placements: About 45% of students are placed in our course. About 30k to 75k with an average being 50k. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc are the top companies that recruit us. About 15% of students get internships in Infosys. Software designer, Data management, Android developer, etc. It was a good batch till 2016.
Infrastructure: As you may find the huge infrastructure in the website and personal view, it is not provided in our course as we are situated on a different campus. It is an average infrastructure with ample labs and below average canteen with overpriced items.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and reliable. As it is an Autonomous institution, the controller of the exam decided when the examination will take place. It will result in the fast rushing of the syllabus and academic programs which makes it not easy to follow through consistently.
Other: Job opportunities are vast. Good in the stream of entertainment.
