This is a good college compared to near self-financing colleges in Palakkad.
Placements: In my college, nearby Al Ameen Law College is also there. Many other state students are also studying there. The strength of the law college is much more than Al Ameen Engineering College. There are engineering fields like ECE, EEE, MECH, CIVIL And also AD and CSE are here. Cybersecurity has been newly started this year.
Infrastructure: I'm a hostel student. My home is in Malappuram. At the hostel, we have non-veg food daily, as lunch and on Sunday, only veg food. It is not bad. Hygienic food, then for a monthly fee is nearly Rs. 5000. Transportation through Pattambi, Manarkkad and Palakkad.
Faculty: The exam is difficult. I got some backlog papers this new scheme 2024 on KTU. About teachers, very experienced but on CSE. Newly started courses staff are freshers. Well-facilitated labs, I think there are 6 computer labs for CS, AD, Cybersecurity, BCA, and BBA.
Other: I'm also working in the event organizing field, such as Industrial visit, Tour. Programs like Onam, Art, Tech, etc. In my opinion its good, I think.

Here in my college, both career and college life are awesome. I really loved it here.
Placements: In my college, the CSE and AI departments are top-ranked courses that are in high demand. Also, for CORE branches, they have been working from 2003 onwards with experienced staff. Newly started Cybersecurity, BBA, and BCA programs are also working well. Our college placements are conducted in the final year. Recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: About the infrastructure in my college, the hostel and canteen are neat and well-maintained. A food inspection from FSSAI was conducted a few months ago in my college. Due to these factors, the college canteen and hostel food is not bad. My college has held 8 Wi-Fi facilitated computer labs, and many entrance exams like JEE, KEAM, etc., are held in my college because of the many computer labs.
Faculty: About the faculty, they are very friendly and experienced in teaching fields. Most staff have been working at that college since 2003. They are helpful during exams and in conducting effective revisions before university exams. According to the new 2024 batch, only 24/60 marks are needed, so passing the exam is not a big deal.
Other: Events like art fest, tech fest, Onam celebration, and Christmas celebration are regularly followed every year as milestones of the college. In college sports, football and cricket are the main ones in which our college wins trophies in football matches. It is very beautiful to enjoy college life and experience everything.

    Overall adjustable college.
Placements: 30 to 40 percent of students were placed from my batch. Around 8 LPA is the highest package, and 3 LPA is the lowest. Some major companies that came for placement are Paletro, UST, Tarento, Zoho, and TCS. Only a few students got internship opportunities from the college. Most of them are selected as trainees and system engineers.
Infrastructure: We have a central library as well as a department library. Wi-Fi is available in the library, main block and new block. We have classrooms with projectors. The college hostel is congested but affordable with good food. We have one canteen and the food is of average quality. Our college provides a small sick room especially for girls who are suffering from period camps. Our college is very active in sports and won many prizes and became overall champions many times.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable having degrees from major institutes like IITs and NITs. They are not very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant to an extent even though there is a gap between industry and academia. Semester exams are moderate level and above 80 percent of students passed.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in electronics. I already have a Diploma in electronics and so I wanted to explore more. Many possibilities in the project are one of the best things about my course. I think students should be engaged with more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. And also syllabus should be updated with the latest trends. Fests are very few, but technical events take place every now and then.

A good college with good teachers and environment.
Placements: Almost 70% of students are placed in our college. The lowest package is 6 LPA, and the highest package is 15 LPA. There are so many companies coming for placements in our department. The main companies are TCS, Alstom, Tarento, and they are taking more students in our department. They provide core offers and also provide other offers.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very neat and clean, and have a projector in every class. Lab also has all types of equipment which helps students. The lab continuing all components without any defect, and the staff monitor our activities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are taught so well. They give notes for every module and give all the previous year's question papers for reference. It is very helpful for students and teachers to give the questions that are most repeated asked for exam. They also give several tutorials for practising the questions, and it is really helpful.

I would be happier if we had more celebrations. I can rate my college 3.5 out of 5.
Placements: Placements to my knowledge are good. I know some of my seniors who got placed in good companies. Top companies like L&T, Wipro, etc., come every year with decent salary packages. CS is the branch that has the best placement. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest is 24 LPA to my knowledge.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Quality of the facilities in my hostel and the food are good. Food is healthy and tasty. College is about 120 acres but most of them are not used or are left to waste like a forest. It could be better if those places are used widely and effectively.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams for my course are good. Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. The exams are conducted by the university which is KTU. This university is not that good. The rules they implement are not that good. University is bad but college is good.
Other: Campus life and celebrations do not speak.

    Campus for Passionate Engineers.
Placements: We know NSSCE stands in a highly valued position in Kerala and has a great placement unit and management system. Top companies like L&T, Alstom, TCS, Sobha Construction, etc. Approach this college for their recruitment offering good starting to high paying packages. The highest package recorded is 16 to 24LPA, and the lowest starting around 3LPA with an average of 5 to 9 LPA. Around 75 to 85 percent of students get placed with 50 percent core placements. Top roles offered in mechanical engineering Nssce would be Core engineers, Designers and in the Tech field in manufacturing.
Infrastructure: The college was initiated and built in the 1960s, the building and infrastructure show their own defects, but it still exposes the natural vibes. The new blocks and buildings, classrooms and libraries have been developed much better. Wi-Fi facility is average not poor. Hostels are also average but with great food service.
Faculty: Teachers are exceptionally good and helpful. Most of them are qualified well. The course curriculum feels like its outdated. The core subjects are strong and still relevant but some parts of the curriculum have not fully caught up with the latest industry trends. Semester exams are not very difficult after following the syllabus properly. I do not know about the official pass percentage and the semester exams. Approximately it will be around 60 to 70 percent.
Other: I took admission via merit seat through the KEAM examination. I chose it because of the high placement percentage and good training history of NSSCE. Most of the NSSCE alumni are still in higher positions and are respected.
