A brief introduction about GCET Jammu, mentioning information about faculty and exam conducting.

Placements: Most of the students go unplaced. Only those who have excelled in CGPA and other academic areas get placed. There have not been any big companies coming in the past. Most seniors either prepare for civil exams or start their own businesses. So internships and placements are hard to get.

A pretty decent college for completing an undergraduate course.

Placements: A decent bunch of people secures PG seats in clinical branches in the state itself (e.g., surgery, orthopedic). Less work to do in internship and more study time. Seniors are helpful. You can also go for a medical officer post if you want. A good college for studying without any distractions.

The best college needs improvement for a better future.

Placements: Placements in Dogra Law College are average. Not everyone gets placement from the college. They have to find their own opportunities for internships and jobs. They provide basic guidance and supportive staff. Students with 65% are eligible for admission.

Review of M.Com Course, University of Jammu.

Placements: The placement of college is organised through a job fair, where hardly 10% have placement at all. The average package is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies include HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Shriram Finance, etc. The top roles offered are assistant manager in banks and companies, HR assistant, etc.

Life in college is the golden days.

Placements: Around 35-40% of students from our course were placed through local recruitment and small-scale organisations in and around Doda and Jammu. Some students also found opportunities through personal referrals and off-campus drives. The highest package was Rs. 22,000 per month, and the average package was Rs. 15,000 per month. Yazu Digital (Local IT Company), Regional IT and Service Firms, Small-scale Business Unit in Doda and Jammu. Private Educational Institutions (for technical and administrative...

Okay college if you just want a general graduate degree. Don’t get your expectations sky-high.

Placements: It’s basically a very normal, timepass college. If you want to join just for the degree, you’re most welcome, otherwise, no companies come here for placements. Students you’ll meet are mostly non-serious. The majority of the students are preparing for exams alongside college, so forget about placements in hotel chains.
