As compared to a regular course, correspondence degree has a lower value but atleast you get a bachelor's degree if you complete your BCom. Looking to private companies I don't think they will judge you by your correspondence degree or a regular degree obviously because every company would like to hire a candidate who is talented and skilled. So here a degree doesn't matter much if you are eligible for that post you are looking.

It depends on the schools what percentage or grade is required for the exams and for sure it is all upto to you how much you score in your entrance exams. So I think yes you should go for your target and best of luck for your future.

Well, all students enrolled in UG and PG programmes at any university, particularly Mumbai University, must maintain a 75% attendance rate. In actuality, students who have 100% attendance now receive 5 marks. Any student who does not maintain the required level of attendance will not be permitted to take the final or additional exams. They must enrol or be admitted as new candidates, maintain a 75% attendance rate, and then show up for the final exams. You are only enrolled for the first year, as you stated, therefore don't take this chance and keep taking classes until you have at least 75% attendance. Alternatively, you can apply for re-admission, in which case you must begin with the first semester once more and pay all applicable fees. I'll suggest you to be engaged in your studies and keep going to class because this sounds so reckless and frantic.
