Masters of Education (M.Ed) is a two-year master's programme. Although, some universities also offer this course as one year. M.Ed programme can be either studied as a normal degree or as a distance or correspondence mode. The degree is available in various subjects and the regulatory body in charge of the course is National Council of Higher Education.
It is mandatory to pursue M.Ed degree, if one wishes to teach at college and university level. It involves research work on education, psychology, sociology among others.
Eligibility Criteria:

You can't do a BA in 1 year and this not a legal way to get a degree. Yes, Institute of distance and open learning provides distance education mode. If you are looking for a one-year bachelor course then look for the foreign university as they offer a one-year bachelor degree.
