Integrated economics at the University of Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements are M.A. Financial Economics. In general economics, one can get an internship in the public sector like NITI Aayog and RBI. In 2023, 8 students got placements. The salary package offered was 14 LPA. Top recruiter was Federal Bank. But, for placements one should have good skills and deep practical knowledge about economics.
Infrastructure: College campus is very big and full of greenery. Department buildings have good and advanced facilities. There is 24/7 library and reading room are avilable. Wi-Fi is enabled in hostels and all public places. Good indoor, outdoor sports facilities, and good gym facilities. Hostel rooms are decent with 2 students per room.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Course curriculum is relevant for career and knowledge perspective. To become job-ready, students have to focus on practical applications of economics on their own. Semester examinations are a little bit difficult if one don't study throughout the semester. Pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I am very curious about economics and its applications. It would be better if the course had some more technical aspects. Events are organised regularly by different departments of the university. Every year, one fest is organised in September called Sukoon.

Curriculum and campus environment are good.
Placements: In the IMA program, Economics is the only subject with good placement opportunities. Last year in 2023, 8 students got placed with salary package of 14 LPA. If one has done a Masters in Financial Economics and studies, then chances of getting placed are high. With a Master's in General Economics, the university's placement cell can offer internships in public sector organizations like NITI Aayog and RBI. IMA Economics (Financial) is a good option. IMA Economics (general) is a decent option and IMA (other subject ) is not a good option for placement purposes.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is amazing. Over 2300 acres campus with good connectivity, free bus service, advanced department building, and classrooms. Big and decent library which is 24/7 open. Full-time Wi-Fi is available in all public areas, including the shopping complex, hostels, lecture halls, and departments. Hostel rooms are good we have to share a room with one of our roommates. All other basic facilities are available such as gym, stadium, and sports complex for almost all indoor and outdoor sports. Reading rooms are available 24/7 at every corner of campus. IGM Library is the best among them. Mess food is good. Canteens are everywhere with affordable and high-quality food. Health center is available for any health issues. Good Infrastructure for gym and almost all indoor and outdoor sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. We have to manage classes in English. There is a little bit problem with crowded classrooms in elective subjects. Course curriculum is good and relevant, it provides real-world applications of every topic. But elective subjects courses provide students with less knowledge. Master's curriculum is well-designed. They conduct workshops for programming language and other placement-related courses. But after all, we have to prepare ourselves for all of these courses through online courses and other material.
Other: I chose this course because I was very enthusiastic about Economics from my school days. University is very far away from my home, so it was a difficult decision, but in the end, I chose it. Festivals and events are regularly organized by different schools and departments. Campus crowd is very diverse, it has students and professors from almost all corners of the country. Campus is at a prominent location of Hyderabad. Very close to almost all MNCs and other IT companies like Wipro, and TCS. University provides a scholarship of Rs. 1000 per month for those who qualify criteria. There are some extracurricular activities like competitions, student union politics, etc.

    Green and healthy environment.
Placements: The highest package stood at 23 LPA, which increased from 17 LPA. A total of 18 recruiters participated in University of Hyderabad 2022. Some of top recruiters include Deloitte, Oracle, Byju's, Accenture, Novartis, Next Education, etc. And the placement offers are more for Science students.
Infrastructure: Professors in our college's social science department are well qualified, very helpful and give good guidance in terms of studies and careers. The course curriculum is rationally designed, covering all basic and advanced topics. We have very good infrastructure and environment. We have very good access to Wi-Fi in every department, hostels and public places like shops. We have very good facilities at our hostel for sports and games. We have access to gyms without any fee and conduct many different competitions regarding sports and games .
Faculty: Professors in our college's social science department are well qualified, very helpful and good in terms of studies and careers. The course curriculum is rationally designed to cover all basic and advanced topics, but while some courses offer the latest knowledge, others are old and just useless. We have three internal exams and best two are regarded as having 40 marks, where each internal is worth 20 marks and end-term paper is worth 60 marks.
Other: I chose this course based on my interest. Our courses offer very good knowledge because they are based on NEP. I would like to remove the attendance percentage for exams. We have many fests.

Review of University of Hyderabad (UoH).
Placements: There are placements. We must maintain a CGPA of at least 6.5 or higher to be eligible for the placement process. Most of the students over here opt for government jobs so they prepare only for these jobs. Godrej and Amazon are some of the top recruiters. The average salary is 7-8 lacs per year. The number of students who get placed is average. Research scientist is one of the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities provided by the university. There are 2 libraries, and classrooms are equipped with AC's, projectors, fans, a green board and whiteboards. The quality of the food provided is meh; we must adjust to the quality. There are 3 shopping complexes inside the campus, and there is a sports complex.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are knowledgeable. They try their best to provide quality education. Most of them have doctorates. The curriculum is quite outdated, the semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage at this university is 40%. The papers are set up in such a way that most of them pass.
Other: The social life at this college is amazing. Fests are conducted every now and then. I chose this course because I have a genuine interest in organic chemistry. There are scholarships for people from poor economic backgrounds.

In the manner of the hostel and campus life, this is a good university.
Placements: In the Hindi department, mainly guys have a focus on higher degrees or teaching jobs. So, after taking admission you can go through JRF or you can be a content writer for any media house. You can work for Lallantop, amarujaaala. All things depend upon your interest.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good here on the day of admission you will get a hostel. The hostel is affordable for SC/ST no charge for OBC and in general and you have to pay 500 per semester. In the hostel, a Wi-Fi facility is available. The classroom is full of smartboards and the library is also good. And they have two libraries one is central.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful here and all are from JNU, DU and HCU itself. All are JRF qualified and they have done Ph.D. They will teach you in a creative manner. The course curriculum will be similar to BHU. The semester exam is easy. The pass number in every subject is 40 out of 100 marks.
Other: I like this university, because of its integrated courses and hostel facilities here I wish to improve the debate or rational nature of students. Every week many clubs and organisations organise festivals or events. At graduation, the scholarship is 1000 per month.

It is a good university to study and pass out from, and it makes us responsible people.
Placements: Our college does not provide a guarantee for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Hostels are good. Classrooms and labs are good and well-maintained. The food served in the mess is hygienic, edible, and moderate in taste but doesn't have many nutrients. Sometimes, water shortage occurs in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and experienced in their respective disciplines. The course curriculum and exams are very well-organised and do not give us any stress, and the timings are feasible. The pass percentage is high. Every course will provide us with great ideas.
Other: The campus has a friendly and non-judgemental environment. Our university has good value for the money. It is a prestigious university, and certificates will hold great value. Our university provides good exposure in all fields. There are many courses available at our university.

Both the Hyderabad University and Delhi University are the top universities present in India. The ranking for both the universities is different. Also, the placements for both the universities is quite good. Which one is better depends on what a student is looking for in a college or university.
