Banaras Hindu University (BHU) BA Courses & Fees 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Admission, Application

BHU total course fee is inclusive of several components such as tuition fee, hostel charges (if applicable), security deposit, library fee, registration fee, etc. BHU fees for BA (H) range between INR 5,870 and INR 11,890. This fee range include BA (Hons) course fee in the affiliated colleges as well. The fee mentioned here is taken from an unofficial source, hence is indicative. Candidates need to upload scanned copies of a few documents during the registration procedure. The documents must be in PDF / JPEG format. Below is the list of documents.

BHU UET counselling process is carried out completely in online mode. Candidates can register for the counselling by following below-mentioned steps:

STEP 1: Candidates need to visit the BHU admission portal to register for the online counselling procedure. To create login credentials, candidates have to provide their NTA application number, and other details along with email ID and create a password to activate the registration account.

STEP 2: Login by entering the Email ID and password and start filling out the application form and upload the required documents. The documents to be uploaded (PDF/JPEG format) are:

STEP 4: After fee payment, preference entry page opens. Candidates can fill in their preferences separately for all the programmes in this form. Seat allotment result is then announced by the university.

BHU CUET PG cutoff 2025 has been announced for admission across multiple specialisations including MA, MSc, MCA, MTTM, LLM,  and MBA. In CUET PG 2025, the overall closing score in the General category stood between 20 and 699. Wherein, the toughest and the easiest course among all the courses are MPA in Vocal Music (Hindustani) and MA in Persian due to high and low score, respectively.

Banaras Hindu University CUET PG cutoff 2024 has been released for various postgraduate courses. As per the first round, the cutoff scores ranged between 5 and 650 for the General AI category students. The most competitive course was M.P.A. in Dance (Kathak). BHU accepts NEET UG scores for admisison to the MBBS, BDS and BSc in Nursing courses. As per the NEET UG Round 2 cutoff 2024, the closing rank for the MBBS course was 1014 for the students belonging to the General AI category students. For the BDS and BSc in Nursing courses, the NEET UG closing ranks were 26356 and 46830. BHU offers a two-year full-time MSc course via its IIT BHU college. The institute accepts the IIT JAM entrance exam scores, followed by its counselling rounds for admission. Yes, Banaras Hindu University accepts CUET-UG entrance exam scores for admission to BA (Hons) course. Earlier, admission to the UG course was through BHU UET. Moreover, only the candidates who have valid CUET-UG scores become eligible to register for the counselling round. The CUET application process is carried out in online mode (cuet.samarth.ac.in). Further, NTA conducts CUET-UG 2024 entrance test. The exam is scheduled between May 15 and May 31.

For admission to a BHU BA (Hons) course, aspirants need to complete the CUET-UG application process. NTA carries out the registrations in online mode. Eligible students can visit NTA CUET website to apply. The application process includes registration, form filling, document upload, and payment of the application fees. Further, to submit the application successfully, candidates must pay the fee on time. BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams. Further, the university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, candidates are required to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

Yes, it is necessary that the candidates seeking admission to BA Hons in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics studied Maths in the qualifying examination. For other specialisations, candidates without maths in Class 12 shall also be eligible to apply. For verification purposes.
