University of Hyderabad MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
The University of Hyderabad MBA is a two-year postgraduate degree course, spread over four semesters, and offered in full-time mode. Check out a complete overview of the UOH MBA course below:
The university offers MBA courses through its campus and the School of Management Studies. University of Hyderabad MBA courses are available in General, Health Care & Hospital Management and Business Analytics specialisations. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must complete a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, and applicants must secure a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade from any recognised university for UOH MBA admissions.
Selection Process: MBA: CAT scores, followed by group discussion and personal interview.
- MBA Health Care and Hospital Management: Written test conducted by the university (75%) + Group Discussion (15 %), and a Personal Interview (25%).
- MBA Business Analytics: Written test conducted by the university (75%) + Group Discussion (15 %), and a Personal Interview (25%).
- Executive MBA: Written entrance exam conducted by the university, followed by a GD & PI.

Candidates seeking admission must at least have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree with first class (or its equivalent with 60% aggregate) in any discipline recognised by UGC/ Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE on or before June of the year of admission. Those completing their final examinations by June can also apply. Additionally, candidates must also have a valid score in CAT exam conducted by the IIMs. IIMs, however, play no role in the selection criteria of UoH for MBA. Online application form has to be submitted online and after filling the online application form, candidates must pay the application fee immediately using the online payment gateway link provided on the form. A list with the names of the short listed candidates is posted on the official website as per the given schedule and none of the shortlisted individuals are sent any communication in this regard.
The subjects in University of Hyderabad MBA first year offered are for total 24 credits, and 3 credit for each 8 subjects. Compulsory Summer Internship Projects of about 8 weeks during May-July for all semester II students. Find below the detailed information about subjects offered:

Admissions for the MBA in Business Analytics at the University of Hyderabad are done based on a written entrance examination for 75 marks (comprising of various sections related to Logical reasoning, Verbal ability, Quantitative ability, Mathematical ability, Statistical ability, Analytical skills, Data Analysis, Interpretation, etc.) conducted by the University followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
