If a student is really interested in sciences, it is one of the finest colleges.
Placements: Those who didn't want to continue for Ph.Ds got jobs in Research roles and Grade B scientist roles as assistant professors. I guess the highest package for IMSc Physics was 11 LPA. Top roles were mostly of theoretical physicists, experimental researchers, graduation B scientists, etc. There are no top recruiting companies. Most of them are working in government research organisations. 90% of students got internships in different research institutions like IITs, TIFR, DRDO, ISRO, etc.
Infrastructure: While studying, the infrastructure is good and has all facilities, but the hostel infrastructure has low maintenance. The mess food can be rated as 2/10. The teaching infrastructure has well-maintained resources and equipment. Just CIS is a little off, but the department buildings and all other facilities are well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are overall good, and the teaching quality is 4/5. The course is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. The difficulty level of exams is 7/10, and the passing score is 40 /100. If you study for a day or 3 days before the exams, you're passing chances are still okay, but it will not be enough to maintain an average or above-average CGPA.

Faculty and college are really good, but I am dissatisfied with the hostel and the mess food.
Placements: This branch was started just 3 years ago. So no one can tell about placement. But here, professors and teaching are exceptionally good. Also, we get many internship opportunities. Anyone who scores a good CGPA gets an internship. Some students also get internship opportunities abroad, too; it is like a semester exchange programme in Austria this year. Last year, some students got the opportunity to work in Sweden too. You will get a lot of opportunities here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college, classroom, library, and everything is really good. -Fi is available everywhere, but the infrastructure of hostels is quite bad. Mess food is also not so good, but the classrooms and library are good. There are ACs and Wi-Fi available in most of the classrooms. The library has many reading rooms where you can study.
Faculty: Teachers are exceptionally good, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The course is totally relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are not too tough. The pass percentage is 40%. It's not difficult to pass the exams, but to get a good SGPA, you need to study.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in material engineering. I would suggest improving the hostel and the mess food. Also fest held is not so good.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus life, and also the placements provided here.
Placements: Pharmaceuticals and Biochemistry labs placements are the top roles offered in my course. Also, there are many others which are recognised and are offering placements for the students with a very good package. Amazon and Indian Immunologicals are the top companies recruiting.
Infrastructure: There is a full Wi-Fi connection throughout the hostels and classrooms. The infrastructure of the classroom and hostels is okay. Food in the mess is also okay, but the food in the canteen is very good. We have a good health care centre on campus.
Faculty: The faculty is good enough for explaining, but when it comes to exams, we should be prepared on our own. The paper is difficult to get a good percentage on, but it is okay to pass. The pass percentage is about 95%. In this course, we have additional subjects other than our courses.
Other: The fests are very eye-catching as many talents are showcased. Faculty should make sure that students are good enough to attend exams.

The infrastructure is very good.
Placements: Almost all of the students from the Chemistry department do get jobs just after their Master's from UoH, and some may also want to pursue Ph.D. here itself. We get jobs in chemical industries, pharma companies, textile industries and all with better starting salaries.
Infrastructure: We have a huge Indira Gandhi Memorial Library, which has 24/7 accessibility for student purposes. We do have a health centre, which is free of cost. It is always open for student needs, and we do have some diagnostic facilities too. Food in the mess will change with the climatic changes, and they do provide essential fruits in summer. Sports will be conducted, and the players will also be able to go nationwide. There is Wi-Fi connection everywhere.
Faculty: Teachers are actually top-rated. They do provide some reference, and they also take some extra classes for weak students. They do keep up some sessions to provide information and make us aware of the internships we can do. Semester exams are based on our own enhancement in the subject. Faculty are highly qualified and top-rated, and their qualifications, explaining and teaching skills are really very good.
Other: Throughout the year, there will be many fests starting from the freshers’ in department level, state level, like freshers’ for students from a particular state. Middle festival celebrations, and annual celebrations for all state-level types and annual fest for the whole university.

College has top-notch infrastructure, faculty, research environment, campus, and placement.
Placements: School of Life Sciences in UoH has Aspire BioNest, funded by DBT, which hosts multiple startups and profit-making companies related to Biological sciences. They have their offices and research lab in the School of Life Sciences itself. If you want, you can even propose your idea, and you will be funded by Aspire, and you will even be provided a space for your research and development.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are top-notch and very modern here. Every class and lab is very well-equipped with AC and Wi-Fi. The hostels are below average, but plenty to accommodate every admitted student.
Faculty: Very highly qualified teachers, almost 90 percent are foreign returnees. They are highly experienced and friendly too. There are even professors who have won Padma Shree, Bhatnagar award, and multiple national awards. The university hosts top scientists of India as faculty. Multiple professors are CSIR NET question setters. The professors bring multiple people who are related to industries for talks and interactive sessions.
Other: The campus is full of greenery, clean, with every facility like a gym, tennis court, basketball court, etc. The campus is like you are in a biodiversity reserve park. Its one of the largest in India. 10 minutes away from Hitech city, so you get all the city facilities. We have multiple communities that organize different cultural festivals throughout the year.

Not a university but a whole city inside.
Placements: As the integrated M.Tech in Material Engineering branch was started in 2024, there have been no placements till now, but you will get good internship opportunities in European countries. There has been a word that our university may bring PSU companies and companies involving manufacturing of metals and alloys. The course combination of Research and Engineering provides an extra set of skills compared to others.
Infrastructure: The campus itself is a mini city inside, spanning over 2000 acres, and has various species like peacocks, deer, etc. You will have Wi-Fi access all over the campus, the classes are well-maintained, and the library is open 24/7. There are 3 grounds dedicated to each sport, there are all kinds of sports, including shooting (paid), and all are available to all. There are many study halls, and they are found all over the campus. There is a gym and an indoor badminton court. But food over here is not that good or that bad, it is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and most of our professors have done their Bachelor's in premier IIT's and PhD's in international universities. Two of our professors are in the top 2% Stanford Scientists list. The course is very much industry-oriented. Papers were set between medium and hard, and the pass percentage 67% in the recent semester.

Getting into the University of Hyderabad can be hard & competitive. The seats are limited in number & the admissions to most of the popular courses are based on the score of entrance exams like CUET, JEE Mains, CAT, etc. making it difficult for the students to get admissions.
