Candidates wan to cancel their admission are eligible for refund of academic fee. The refund will be made as per the norms of UGC. The university doen't refund the admission and registration fee. Request for cancellation of admission and refund of fees may be considered in accordance with the following norms:

• If a candidates applies for cancellation prior to the commencement of classes, then, the
  tuition fee will be refunded. Registration and admission fees are not refundable.
• If a candidates discontinues in the middle of a course, he / she shall be required to pay
  the tuition fee for the remaining period of the programme.
• The management may sympathetically consider the application to discontinue and
  on their discretion may order for the payment of tuition fee for the semester during
  which the student has last attended and permit to issue to TC.

No, VELS University LLM admissions are purely entry-based. For LLM admissions, the university conducts its entrance examination, namely VELS Entrance Examination (VEE). Thus, students seeking admission to this programme must register and appear for the aforementioned exam. Based on these scores, students are ranked and allocated a seat.

Yes, candidates belonging to the EWS category can avial fee waivers. The university provides scholarships to support the candidates belonging to the economically weaker sections of society. To extend financial support, the university provides a 20 to 100% scholarship in the tuition fees.

To be eligible, interested students must have passed the qualifying examination (HSC or degree as applicable) in regular mode in the first attempt in the current year of admission, and have an income of less than INR 5 lakh.
