- GATE 2027 City allotment notification for admission to the PhD course will be announced on Jan 4, 2027. The exam will be held from Feb 6 to Feb 7, 2027; Feb 13 to Feb 14, 2027; and Feb 20 to Feb 21, 2027.
- The CMAT 2027 registrations for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses might begin in October 2026. The exam will be conducted on Feb 7, 2027.
- MAT 2026 December session registrations are ongoing for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 14, 2026, for the exam scheduled on Dec 20, 2026. For CBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 21, 2026, for the exam taking place on Dec 27, 2026.
- The CAT 2026 registrations for admission to the MBA/PGDM course are now closed. The admit cards download will begins from Nov 4, 2026 and the CAT exam will be held on Nov 29, 2026.

Review of Kharagpur College.
Placements: Our college placement rate is around 75%. The average salary package offered here is 5.6 LPA, and the highest package is 27 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, RAashmi, Tata Metaliks, Bajaj Finance, Birla Group, Berger Paints, etc. Top roles offered are Data entry operator and Group B jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college does have a hostel facility, but I didn't get any hostel facility. I live in the mess, but some of my friends live in a hostel, and they said it is good. The food quality is average. Wi-Fi facility is available 24/7. Our college has a big library with a huge collection of books.
Faculty: Our faculty members are too good. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. In a semester, we have exams thrice. We have 2 internal exams and 1 semester exam. There are a total 6 exams in a year. The difficulty level is not so high. Anyone who studies along with the lectures can pass the exams easily.

Review of Midnapore College.
Placements: Placements in my college are not at a high level. Only the BCA department gets placements. Other departments, including ours, don't get any type of placement at all. The BCA department got placement opportunities from companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. But we don't get any type of placements at all. We can do internships by ourselves from any other place. Our college doesn't provide any type of internship opportunity.
Infrastructure: Hostel is too good. The people here are humble, Wi-Fi is available 24/7 with high speed. Our department infrastructure is not too good. We don't get sufficient computers required, they treat us like a small department. When we ask for a computer, they tell us that we don't have enough students, but collect the full fee without giving any discount. This is not fair.
Faculty: Our Economics department has 5 faculty members, 1 HOD, and 4 assistant professors. They treat us well. They are humble and sweet, and they help us a lot with our education. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant and good. Exams are held thrice a semester. We have 2 internal exams and then a semester exam. Exams aren't too difficult, anyone who covers the lectures by faculty members can easily score well in exams.
Other: I chose this course because this department is so good. Midnapore College has its own reputation and history. If students are provided with enough materials for study, such as enough compatible computers, labs, and a digital board for studying, then our course will be much more interesting.

Placements: Midnapore College is an autonomous college and one of the best colleges in West Bengal. Economics is a multidirectional subject. With this course, you can pursue various career paths, such as UPSC, IAS, banking, business, IES, etc. This course can offer high-paying job opportunities. It is also a very interesting subject. For those who love mathematics and philosophy, I definitely recommend learning this subject.
Infrastructure: The college library is large. It has many types of books, along with a digital library. It also has a peaceful reading room for studying. Labs and classrooms are good. There is a big ground for sports and a gym on the college campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Their teaching style is professional. The semester exams are quite tough, but the pass percentage is high. This course helps students become industry-ready. Through this course, we can also learn about various aspects of our daily lives and the country.
Other: Seniors are very helpful and friendly. College also organizes educational tours, fests, and extracurricular activities. Everything is very good at the college. One thing that could be improved is the lift facility. Currently, it is available only to faculty members and staff. I request that students also be allowed to use it when they are unwell.

Absolutely wonderful because of good placement opportunities and supportive faculty.
Placements: Placements are good, but they are not guaranteed for everyone. Students become eligible for placements from the 3rd semester. This college is one of the best MBA colleges in Kolkata. The average salary package is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Nestle, Capgemini, Britannia, Bhandhan Bank, and many more. Many students get PPOs after internship. Placement rate is very high. Almost everyone gets placement from this college. The whole placement process of this college is good. They have a tie-up with PWC, so that many students can get direct placements.
Infrastructure: This college does not have hostel facilities. It has a well-decorated library. The friendly and supportive environment fosters a learning experience. Most students have to stay in the nearby PGs. Wi-Fi is available in the classrooms. We have football and cricket fields on the campus. The college provides well-equipped, air-conditioned classrooms with projectors. Classrooms are very clean. This college has a well-decorated seminar hall and auditorium. There are some affordable food stalls near the college campus. Overall, the facilities are satisfactory.
Faculty: The college curriculum is extraordinary. The curriculum provides vast practical and theoretical knowledge. There are good teaching facilities. Teachers are very helpful throughout the academics. Semester exams are not very hard. Regular exams and the right guidance make the students industry-ready. The examination system includes internal assessment, assignments, presentations and semester-end examinations.
Other: BIBS is a good choice for MBA students. Advanced learning and good teaching staff make it better compared to other colleges.

My college is beautiful and supportive. Many students get placed in various sectors.
Placements: My college, where I studied, was located in Nandakumar. Many of my friends chose a B.Sc. in Mathematics. They studied very hard and got placed in various IT sector jobs. Some of my friends also secured government jobs in both the central and state governments. Overall, my college was very good.
Infrastructure: Labs in our college were well-equipped. Many types of files, components, and practical instruments were available. The college had smart infrastructure and good facilities for practical learning.
Faculty: Faculty members were very helpful and supportive. Two semesters are conducted every year. Mock tests were held regularly in the college. Teachers taught us very well, and every weekend, three days were dedicated to practical project reviews.
Other: I was a PCM student in Class 12, so I chose to pursue a B.Sc. in Mathematics at Maharaja Nandakumar Mahavidyalaya. College had a beautiful, positive environment. Every year, many fests and academic activities are organized on the campus. Various curricular activities related to nature, health, and other occasions were also organized throughout the year. Maharaja Nandakumar Mahavidyalaya was one of the best colleges for me.

Students should join this college. I love this college.
Placements: My college did not have placements yet. But a good environment for growth. In the future, I am confident that there will be a huge number of placement opportunities at our college. It would also add master’s programs in all subjects. I was happy to be a part of this college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was good. It had Wi-Fi connectivity and ICT-enabled classrooms. There was also a large library.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and highly qualified. Many of them were NET qualifiers and had Ph.D. degrees. They had vast knowledge and shared it effectively with students. The course had internal and external exams across six semesters. The pass percentage was 45%. Faculty members were very friendly and kind-hearted. Their guidance helped us a lot in our life path. In class, they taught us very well.
Other: The college had many extracurricular activities like Basanta Utsav, sports, and Nobin Boon.

The Vidyasagar University MCA Cutoff 2025 was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for admission to the MCA course.
