If your PCM aggregate puts you at a VIT rank of up to 3,500, you can expect to get admission to Category 1.If your rank was up to ~ 15,000, expect admission to Category 2 or 3 which have slightly higher fees but the opportunities of a seat in Software Engineering.

The documents required for admission to the Integrated M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in Collaboration with Virtusa at VIT Vellore are:
1. 10+2 (or equivalent) mark sheet
2. Transfer certificate
3. Conduct certificate
4. Migration certificate (if applicable)
5. Passport size photographs
6. ID proof (Aadhaar card, driving license, etc.)

8. Income certificate (if applicable)

The VIT Vellore offers admission to the M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology course based on the performance in the qualifying examination (UG or its equivalent). The eligibility criteria include a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university in any branch of Biological Science that includes Botany / Zoology, Microbiology / Biochemistry/ Biotechnology / Nutrition (or) Home Science / Agricultural Science / Medicine with 60% of marks (Inclusive of all subjects).

Note: There is no VIT entrance examination for M.Sc. programs.

To get admission to M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology at VIT Vellore, candidates must have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university in any branch of Biological Science with 60% of marks. The admission will be based on the performance in the qualifying examination (UG or its equivalent). There is no VIT entrance examination for this program. Candidates who have studied in regular, full-time, and formal education are alone eligible to apply. The applicant must be a Resident Indian National.

To get admission to B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at VIT Vellore, candidates must appear for the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination). The eligibility criteria include candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2003, and they should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2025, in any one of the following qualifying examinations: the final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board. PCMB/PCM applicants who have attempted Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE 2025 are eligible for all B.Tech. Programmes.
