Good companies do come, but not as many vacancies are there in the market as the number of students, So, even good students don't get core placements.

VIT - Vellore, Tamil Nadu review.
Placements: The placement cell is there on our campus for handling all the placement interviews and aptitude training workshops. The highest package is 1 Crore, and the lowest is 30 lph. And the average package is 50 lph. Top recruiting companies are like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc. About 80-90% of the students get a chance of an internship, and most of them are aware of the real-life problems, so they meet the requirements of the company and get enrolled in the company.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are well furnished, and all necessary equipment like an almirah, wardrobe, table, bed, and chair are there. Classrooms are also loaded with the facilities that are required, and they keep us available as soon as possible. Food quality is impressive as they give both veg and non-veg options on the menu. Games and sports are there in bulk, most of the international player comes from this college only.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful. They help in every circumstance of life. Also, the course curriculum is well and good as compared to other private institutions. Semester exams are a little more difficult but easy to crack. About 70-80% students get more than 9.5 CGPA. And a rest above 8 CGPA.
Other: Campus life is very engaging, and we generally have to go through the workshop every day with the industry experts. My experience in this college is awesome, and I want other students to study here as the college offers an overseas study medium for students who pursue a master's degree. The campus crowd is full of engineers and innovators. Fest is held generally in the month of December, at the end of our semester.

Infrastructure and campus life are good.
Placements: I am a fresher; I don't know much, but I will tell you what I know. 50% get placements mostly in tech-based companies like Infosys and all, and we should have a minimum 8.5 CGPA. The package ranges from 3.5 LPA to 26 LPA. We get mostly UI/UX design or automobile design jobs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. I took the H Block hostel apartment type; it is costly but very spacious. Wi-Fi is good, and the food is also good. We have a health center within VIT with a medical shop, and we have a basketball court, badminton court, and all to play. The mess is also neat.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and teach well. They are friendly, and we are literally like friends with them. The course curriculum has completely changed this year. It is hands-on and drawing, so it's like skill development. I am still in my 1st semester as of now. The assessments were neither hard nor easy, just average, and I don't know the pass percentage.
Other: I love designing and drawing. It is my favorite, and I love it here. There are events and fests, and campus life is great.

Vellore Institute of Technology.
Placements: The percentage to get placement was 90 percent. The highest package offered was 56LPA and the average package offered was 8LPA. The top companies recruiting like Google Amazon Flipkart Infosys Wipro etc. The percentage of internship was 80 percent.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure was very beautiful. All blocks had good infrastructure. College only provides Wi-Fi. Labs were very helpful. In library there were all these types of books. Hostel rooms were good and also hygiene food. In total five canteens were there. Good medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teaching quality was good. Almost all teachers were very experienced and very knowledgeable. Teachers help students face any kind of doubts. Teaching quality was good. The course was relevant. Semester exams were moderate. The percentage passing the semester was 85 percent.

Integrated M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) - Batch of 2029

Vit Vellore course review.
Placements: About more than 300 students in my batch. The average package is about 6 LPA, and the highest is based on your performance, it may go up to 40 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and more. There are good placements if you have reached a certain criteria like completing the credit and internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the lab and classes is good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. In library it is available. The hostel facilities are good and the food is also good. If you're interested in sports, there is a chance you can play, and they give first preference to health in the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty are friendly and they help if you ask them, and the quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is relevant. The semesters are average, and if you study on a daily basis, it won't be a problem. The notes uploaded by the faculty are very helpful and good.

Good placements, good ROI of CAT 1, 2, and strict rules.
Placements: Placement percentage is very high, above 99%. The highest package offered is 1 crore per annum, with a average of 9.9LPA. The lowest packages are 3.3 to 4LPA. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Apple, etc visit the campus. Top roles offered in my course are software engineer, data analyst, data scientist, hr, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in my college. Library with many books. Wi-Fi is decent, but only in the library and hostels. There are AC and non AC rooms available, and the room you get depends on your CGPA or your roommate CGPA. Food is sometimes good, sometimes not, depending upon what mess you take. We have a volleyball, gym, a tennis table, table tennis, a basketball, a swimming pool, and a big ground for football and cricket.
Faculty: There are 4 main exams conducted. CAT 1, CAT 2, lab fat and fat. Fat is the final exam. CAT 1 and CAT 2 are monthly, and the lab fat is the final exam for lab courses. CAT 2 is open book but the questions are hard. Again, some faculty members are very good, some are not. It really depends upon which faculty you take. There is a FFCS system using which you can decide which faculty to take and which slots in a day to take and customize your timetable.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in computer Science and engineering, and was fond of computers since childhood.

Well maintained campus and great environment to learn and grow.
Placements: The highest package offered this year was around 1 crore per annum and the lowest package offered 5LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and many other tech based companies in India and abroad. 70% of students with a CGPA of 9 or above and good coding skills get internships. Mostly students land roles in the technical side itself as they develop.
Infrastructure: The Computer Science department is one of the largest in VIT and hence has been provided with the best facilities, such as well equipped classrooms with smart boards and internet connection. The rooms are large and spacious. The library here is not only big but also has a wide range of books available on every topic necessary. They even have self serving kiosks, which can give us an idea of where the book is present. The hostel is well equipped, and they have good Wi-Fi, good food, AC, and non AC rooms. Canteens and sporting areas are available as well.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but can be hard to understand at times. They are very knowledgeable and can be really helpful. Course curriculum is relevant to industry standards, and the semester exams are mid-level. The pass percentage in our batch is pretty high, with at 85% to 90% of the class passing.
Other: It is an overall experience, it gives you great exposure, and shows you a new community of people who share the same interests as you. I chose this course out of my interest in technology since childhood. They could improve the faculty a bit more. Events and fests organized are wonderful. There are technical fests and plenty of hackathons and events for everyone.
