Hello there, Now this is a pretty interesting comparison because all these universities have their own strengths, but if I'm speaking from experience and what I've personally felt about LPU, it genuinely holds its own and even shines in many aspects. What makes LPU special is how dynamic and future-focused the entire system is. Whether it's the CSE department or courses in management, agriculture, design, or even liberal arts, LPU offers a really balanced mix of academics, hands-on learning, and global exposure. The infrastructure is absolutely next level—smart classrooms, advanced labs, innovation studios—and the diversity on campus is something you won't find everywhere. You're learning with people from all over India and more than 40 countries. In comparison, DU is very academic but lacks the tech infrastructure and placement support that private universities offer. VIT, SRM, and Amritha are definitely solid names, but LPU's industry connections, entrepreneurship cell, and international tie-ups really give you a broader platform. Compared to Thapar and Pilani, which are quite selective and great for deep technical learning, LPU focuses on a more holistic approach—so whether you're good at coding, communication, or creativity, you'll find your space to shine here. Plus, the placement record just keeps getting better every year.I hope this helps.

If you're choosing between VIT Vellore and IIIT Dharwad, go with VIT unless you have a very specific reason not to. It's got way better infrastructure, more companies come for placements, and the median salary's higher too; around ?9.9 LPA compared to Dharwad's ?7.2 LPA. VIT also has a bigger campus, more student activities, and a stronger alumni base. IIIT Dharwad is still new and growing, but VIT's clearly the more established option.

VIT offers admission to its five-year integrated M.Tech programs based on Class 12th marks, without requiring any entrance exam. Candidates must have at least 70% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (65% for some campuses like Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal), with relaxations for SC/ST and students from northeastern states. The application process usually begins in February, and the admission process concludes by June with merit ranks and seat allotments. The total tuition fee is approximately ?9.75 lakhs, varying slightly by campus and year. To be eligible, students must be Indian residents, must have completed schooling in India, should be born on or after July 1, 2005, and must not have any backlogs or gaps in Class 12. With an 88.5 percentile in JEE, getting a B.Tech CSE seat at VIT Andhra Pradesh depends on the cutoffs, which mostly consider VITEEE or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET ranks. VIT-AP typically admits via VITEEE or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET; JEE percentile alone may not directly qualify you unless converted accordingly. Usually, VITEEE cutoff ranks for CSE range widely but expected category 1 closing ranks were around 20,000 to 45,000 in 2024. To confirm, you should check VITEEE or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores and admission criteria specifically.
