For ECE, both LPU and VIT are good choices, but it depends on what a student is looking for. VIT is quite reputed and has strong industry connections, but I feel LPU offers a very balanced environment with modern labs, updated curriculum, and exposure through various projects and internships. The faculty at LPU is approachable and encourages hands-on learning, which is great for ECE since it combines electronics with communication technology. LPU also brings in industry experts and organizes tech events that help in networking and skill building. Placements are decent with companies from core and IT sectors. Plus, the campus life is vibrant and supportive, giving a good mix of academics and personal growth. So, if someone values practical learning along with a lively campus, LPU can be a smart choice without taking away from VIT's strengths.

To pursue B.Tech in VIT, the candidate must necessarily go through VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). The scoring of JEE Mains or marks in 12 th standard alone are not enough to gain admission in B.Tech. You should have passed 12th grade with a good performance (at least 60% in PCM/PCB) but the main criteria is your VITEEE rank which is obtained after you have given the VITEEE. A valid rank in VITEEE is usually compulsory even in the seats under the management quota, higher fees being charged at lower ranks. Nevertheless, come to other undergraduate programs such as BBA, BCA, or B.Sc., VIT can give the admission on the basis of the 12 th grade result.
