No, VIT and VITEEE are entirely different. VIT represents the institution, which is otherwise called as Vellore Institute of Technology. On the other hand, VITEEE is the undergraduate engineering entrance exam VIT conducts. The full form of VITEEE stands for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination. 

VITEEE exam has 125 questions in total. All questions are objective-type and incorrect responses include negative marking. Candidates have to complete their exam in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
