Yes—VIT, Vellore generally accepts NWAC board mark sheets if you meet the standard B.Tech eligibility (Physics, Chemistry, Math, 60%). However, their official foreign students page states that an AIU equivalence certificate is mandatory for any non- Indian board qualification. 

The documents required for admission to the Integrated M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in Collaboration with Virtusa at VIT Vellore are:

To get admission to M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology at VIT Vellore, candidates must have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university in any branch of Biological Science with 60% of marks. The admission will be based on the performance in the qualifying examination (UG or its equivalent). There is no VIT entrance examination for this program. Candidates who have studied in regular, full-time, and formal education are alone eligible to apply. The applicant must be a Resident Indian National.

To get admission to B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at VIT Vellore, candidates must appear for the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination). The eligibility criteria include candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2003, and they should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2025, in any one of the following qualifying examinations: the final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board. PCMB/PCM applicants who have attempted Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE 2025 are eligible for all B.Tech. Programmes. The last date for online application is April 7th, 2025.
