CS Professional Exam 2026
CS Professional December 2026 dates have been announced by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India on the official website. The December 2026 exams will be conducted in offline mode. Only candidates who register and enroll for the examination are issued admit card to sit in the exam. CS Professional exam is the final stage of Company Secretary Course and is conducted twice a year- June and December. ICSI has conducted the June session and will release the result in August 2026.
To clear the CS Professional exam, a candidate must score at least 40% marks in each paper and 50% aggregate marks in all papers. If a candidate fails to meet the qualifying criteria, he/she will have to re-attempt the exam in the next session. Read below to know more details.

ICSI CS Professional Application Form
To be able to appear for CS Professional exam, a candidate must fill and submit the online form. Before filling out the form, below are some important documents that a candidate must have for smooth registration process:

How to Fill CS Professional Application Form?
Candidates must follow steps below to fill CS Professional application form:
- Visit the ICSI official website- icsi.edu
- Enter the login credentials
- Go to 'My Account' under the tab 'Student'
- Click Professional Registration under “Payment Request” option.
- Upload pass mark sheet of both modules of Executive Programme.
- Pay the application fee

ICSI CS Professional Enrollment
Once a candidate registers for CS Professional exam, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India opens the CS enrollment window for registered candidates to enroll for the upcoming session. Below are the steps to fill the enrollment form of Professional course:
- Go smash.icsi.in
- Enter CS login details:
- User ID
- Password
- Now click on Module and then Enrollment
- Enter details displayed:
- Applied year
- Course
- Session name
- Syllabus
- Module
- Pay ICSI CS Professional enrolment fee of INR 1800 per module.
ICSI CS Professional Enrollment Late Fee
If a candidate fails to pay the enrollment fee during Without Late Fee Payment Window, he/she will have to pay INR 250 as late fee. ICSI also mentions the last date to pay the late fee to enroll for the examination.
Students will be required to pay INR 250 as late fee if they fail to pay within the given period. Candidates requesting for change in centre/module/medium or change in elective subjects will have to pay INR 250 for each change.

CS Professional Admit Card 2026
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India releases CS Professional admit card around 10 days before the exam day. Registered candidates who enroll for the exam before last date are issued hall ticket in PDF format. The direct link to download admit card is shared at icsi.edu. Candidates will have to enter their 17-digit registration number to download the admit card. Candidates must ensure to take their admit card to the exam centre as failure to do so can result in denial of entry to exam hall.
CS Professional Result 2026
ICSI releases CS Professional result on the official website. Candidates who appear for the exam can download their scorecard PDF online at icsi.results.shiksha. To download the scorecard, candidates have to enter their roll number and registration number. Only candidates who will qualify the CS Professional exam will be considered certified CS. Along with result, ICSI also releases CS pass percentage and CS Toppers List.
CS Professional Passing Marks
As per the criteria set by ICSI, students will be declared qualified if they meet the below criteria:
- 40% marks in each CS Professional subject
- Overall 50% marks in aggregate in Group 1 or/and Group 2
ICSI CS Professional Result 2026 - Verification of Marks
In case a candidate is dissatisfied with his/her scores in the exam, it is possible to apply for marks verification. ICSI opens the facility of supply or inspection of certified copies of answer books after the release of result. Check below to know the steps to apply for marks verification:
