SVKMs NMIMS conducts NPAT exam every year for admission to UG courses offered at NMIMS campuses. NPAT full form is NMIMS Programs After Twelfth. Candidates aspiring for admission to BBA, BSc (Finance), BSc (Economics), BCom (Hons.), B.A. (Hons) Liberal Arts, BMM, etc., can appear for NMIMS NPAT exam as per the schedule. NMIMS campuses situated at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore and Dhule accepts NPAT scores for admissions. The exam is conducted as a computer-based test from the test centre. Counselling of NPAT-based admissions is an online process that starts with the release of the merit list. NMIMS prepares the NPAT merit list based on the performance of the test taker in the exam. The best of three scores are taken into consideration while preparing the NPAT merit list. Candidates selected as per the NPAT merit list receive an offer letter from the participating institute. Based on the NPAT admission offer, candidates must fill out the admission form and the relevant documents. NMIMS will release a fee deposit notice for the selected candidates on verification of the documents along with the RTGS/NEFT details. Candidates interested in NMIMS admission must pay the fee before the stipulated date.

SVKM's NMIMS releases the NPAT 2026 results over the institute's official login website. Candidates have to log in using their email ID and password to check the NMIMS NPAT results. The results are released with the merit position evaluated based on the best of three scores of the NPAT exam. Candidates can access the merit list of the NPAT exam now.

NPAT 2026 Merit List

Candidates who qualify the NPAT exam get their names included in the NPAT merit list. The merit list of candidates will be prepared based on the marks obtained by them in NMIMS-NPAT 2026. The selection of candidates is done based on merit and preferences given by candidates for programs and campus.

SVKMs NMIMS facilitates NPAT admit card download process inside the login dashboard. Candidates can download NPAT admit card immediately after they book the exam slot. Candidates can visit the official website (npat.nmims.edu) anytime before the exam date to download the NPAT 2026 admit card. NPAT admit card includes important details related to the exam, including the test date, shift timings, exam city and complete address of the test centre on the admit card.

A hard copy of the NPAT admit card is mandatory for entry into the NPAT exam centre. Officials will deny admission to anyone without a physical hall ticket, as staff must verify your details and photograph on-site. Furthermore, you are required to bring both the original and a photocopy of a government-issued ID for identification purposes.

The NPAT question paper is prepared from these three domains, and achieving a high score requires thorough preparation across all of them:

NMIMS NPAT Preparation Tips 2026

Preparing well for the exam becomes crucial to compete alongside 80,0000+ test takers. Here are some of the NPAT preparation tips to help ace candidates ace the exam:

• Get aware of the NMIMS NPAT pattern and syllabus.
• Cover topics from one section at a time.
• Proficiency in the English Language is considered the easiest among all three sections, experts recommend covering this section in the end.
• Jot down the formulas for the Quantitative and Numerical Ability section and read the same daily, irrespective of the topics to be covered on a particular day.

SVKMs NMIMS hosts NPAT registration online on its official website, npat.nmims.edu. Candidates filling NPAT application form have to choose the course and campus preference during the one time registration. Candidates have to pay the NPAT registration fee based on the number of campuses and course options chosen. Candidates are also required to choose preferred exam date and test city while filling the NPAT application form.

NMIMS NPAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Candidates must be 25 years old or younger.
• Academic Qualifications
  • Must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam in any stream.
  • Must have scored at least 60% total marks in Class 12.
  • Must have passed Class 12 in the first attempt. Candidates who failed and cleared it on a second attempt are not eligible.
  • For CBSE and ICSE students, total marks for all subjects in Class 10 must be mentioned. Marks based on 'best of four or five' subjects will not be accepted.
• Open & Distance Learning (ODL) Students: Candidates from open or distance learning schools are eligible only if the school is recognised by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Students
• • Must hold a valid IB Diploma from a recognised board. IB Certificate holders are not eligible.
  • Must have studied Mathematics or Statistics at the Standard Level (SL).
• Admission Requirement: Candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in the NPAT exam to qualify for admission.
